i think it's hilarious how mean people are in this game. in most games the people you meet a) want to help you or b) want to kill you. most of these people are just like, "whatever, you annoying kids"

That's because the one's where every single person wants to help you from what I remember, were bad plotwise and gameplay.
This at least is realistic while at the same time, psychedelic and eerie.
All of it's only an illusion, it all makes sense in Moonside. ;)
