this emotional effect we all get from glen, is the simple fact that he MEANS EVERY SINGLE WORD that he sings. Its called passion, and very rare in todays musicians, who play music just for financial gain. Glen has being at this game 20 years now, Im so glad he got that oscar, he deserves every bit of it!!

Are those holes in the guitar (worn out from strumming)? Man, someone needs to get him a new guitar... it looks like its dying out there (even though it sounds great in all his performances and the movie)

A fan/widow of another red headed Irish singer/songwriter gave him a nice guitar from her late husband. He was gracious, but i think he would rather use his until it disintegrates.
