why have a compensator on a 22? The walther is a nice gun without it! personally i think it takes away from the guns natural beauty. You said if you dont like it you will modify it? what are you going to do to it? I suggest reading the destructions to know what the extras which come with the gun and what they do before making a vid. makes you look stupid
im planning on buying the exact same thing soon as a first gun. i like your viridian alot, so im gonna get one of those 2, and probly an extra magazine. im from illinois so im gonna have my bro in oklahoma buy it cuz there cheaper down there. he should be buying it within the next week, and he comes home from the army in 3 months, so when i get it ill post a vid. you should try the cci stingers. there $7 for a box of 50 but there much higher velocity (1650 fps)and jam-free in the p22's.
I have a walther p22 and the best amo personaly for me is Remmington .22 Golden Bullet 550High velocity long rifle cartridges i found they dont jam as much as the box you have
You didn't get the combo 3.4 and 5"? Mine was $315 for both barrels on the dark green frame. just don't use cheap ammo, mine works real well with Rem target green label on yellow plastic box 100 rd count
Good to see a video of the 5" on youtube ... all the others are of the 3.4" and the 3.4" is prohibited in Canada so... I wanted to have a look at the 5" before buying one
I live in Georgia. Here you have to be 21 and guns don't require licensing. When you go into the shop you fill out all the paperwork and have an instant background check. After all of that you pay and attain possession of the firearm.
I'm gonna move to Gerogia when I'm 18 then! Thanks for the help, man! (don't worry, no mischief...just a hobby and dumb laws in UK where I just moved to...cant get guns, now BB guns are getting too expensive...) anyways thanks
Damn. $8 is cheap for that many bullets! Although it IS a .22. the Mark XIX's bullet's are like $1.50 a PIECE depending on the brand. I understand why you said it's expensive to shoot. That's straight up crazy. Haha.
I still hold the record of a 298 in a controlled range with a .22. (Like 3 years ago).
I tried a beretta 9mm. I had the chance to try a D.E. .50 that my brother brought from the States. (He voted for Bush, so i don't really talk to him a lot).
I Just like the handling of a .22. But My Dreamgun is not available here. YOUR P-22. Of course I wish for a P-22 with a gemteck silencer BUT... dreams are hard to come by this far south.
I'm from Chile. As you might think, after our military regime, gun control was pretty harsh. But since my father was Air Force (we always enjoy the UNITAS exercises, by the way), I got my hands on a couple interesting guns.
I'm proficient with a couple P.O.S. guns. CZ mostly, plus a couple .22 from the Chilean Armoury FAMAE, that is quite nice once you get the hang of things.

How good is the 5" barrel? Does it shoot straight?
I plan on getting one of these as my first gun, but I must get the 5" one because down here in australia the 3.4" is illegal (too short)

wow nice quaity video for a phone. and very nice gun. im debateing between a 5" barel or a 3.8". is the 5" barel werth the extra cost?
ninjaofthenorthwoods 3 years ago
Yeah but check the weight compensator mounted sight on the 5" may be cocked a little and it can throw of your precision.
Chavagnatze 3 years ago
You may want to look around because I got my 5" for $340. It was actually cheaper than the 3.4" w/ green frame sitting next to it.
