We added all of the extra controls to this, follow the link on our main youtube page to see full details. The mod that you are talking about is a light dependant resistor.
ahh i see.
yes in my ignorance (blissful, i suppose) i referred to it as d-beam, as they are called on the roland synths.
but it is in essence the same thing, i believe.
Yes it could be the same technology. We use this on various machines and this little unit seemed to react very well to one.
