I loved this drink, it was the best. Too bad New York Seltzer went bankrupt in 1993. The economy really turned shitty after the stock market crash of 1987 to 1996.
Beverage Brouhaha..."He's no pussycat"...and @2:20 when he pops the girl in the head!...I can't stop watching this little gem!...25K for a fake tree...aaahhhh...nothin in the world!
There's been rumors that it could be found at Big Lots. Not sure if its in all Big Lots, but its been found in a few here and there. Its uncertain if they're using the same formula or not.
He earned his money. That seltzer was gooooood! Funny thing is, I don't remember a lot of stores having it, at least, not in the area I lived in the 1980s. $100,000,000 in sales? Wow. The raspberry rocked.
Ditto on the black cherry. Someone recently posted on line that they found it at big lots, but in large plastic bottles. I think Snapple bought it in the 90's, then discontinued it. Mr. Randy above had to file Chapter 11 from buying too many toys and tigers.
They got in trouble because there was some ingredient when combined with others made a carcinogen. The problem is that alot of sodas have that or did recently as late last decade. ONYS just didn't have the deep pockets *as* Coca-Cola (which is used to clean car engines and battleships as a paint thinner.)
I wonder where this Guy Randy is Today? Hmmmm

It's not available everywhere anymore, which really makes me sad.
Is it true Coors bought ONYS? Any plans for them to do anything with the brand? I need some clear root beer and black cherry STAT!
