I love driving past Schantz every morning. It's cool looking in and watching them put together such high quality instruments. When I used to walk home everyday I could smell the wood and hear the workers talking. I always imagined them discussing the plans for an organ that would be performed on by some mysterious organist in a black tux. In my world, it's not an organ unless it's made by Schantz. =)
If I'm not mistaken, the organ you are hearing is their recently finished instrument at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore. I know this because it's where I sing in the choir so I have a pretty good ear and can pick out our organ anywhere. It really is a beautiful instrument and a brilliant example of American organ building.
Hmmm...Yummy Sound...

In 1995 we had II/21 Schantz installed. I STILL marvel at its tonal qualities and dependability. I'm thankful to serve as organist.
