about the non-cocteau success. if they ever wanted massapplause [which i doubt]

i think essence and eperdu would have flown better outside their circles.

One of the most touching songs on MILK & KISSES. Upltifting but, at the same time, melancolic and it leaves you floating and spiraling towards somewhere impossible to define. Only the Cocteaus could have left us such deep-touching sounds.

Just learned recently that Fraser's lyrics come from some of her favorite French novels and what she does is take a portion of each word (not sure if it's the first half of the word or what) in a sentence to come up with the lyrics. Who else on Earth would think to do that??????
