I remember looking up guides for this and people were saying youll need to prepare and all that stuff, and also that people are on their 7th try etc, so I was worried, but than i went in killed Raubahn 1st try no problem. I saw no diffuculties.

I think this was my hardest G5.. took me few tries. A lot of it is luck because he can kill you at will if he really wants to lol depends what spells he casts

this fight is just luck that he doesnt use radient breath,best strat is to use win for chain affinity and a spell,solo skillchains delay you and leave you open 1/3 on fight,it i hard but beat him 1:30 no 2H or items

Bah just tried him today and failed as 70BLU, got him to 50% w/o taking 1 dmg, then i got 1k hp killed off within 10 seconds, radiant breath + savage blade -.- Gunna go farm another testimony and hysterric barrage and try again.

I'm a 68BLU looking at doing this soon on Shiva server. I heard it's a difficult LB5 although from watching a lot of these videos, with correct buffs and a little luck it doesn't look so difficult.. It's just getting spinal cleave and hysterric barrage that's going to be difficult -.- lol

i tried "Frost Breath" gr8 spell, but for a Tarutaru its bad when he opens the breath spells up! another problem i had was watching what he was doing not a good idea!

great fight, but i think you got lucky, the only spells he really cast were geist wall and healing breeze, if he opens up with 1000 needles, there isn't much you can do to counter him

the biggest problems for a blu mage are that, though we can do lots of damage, and our cures are actoually better than the whm equivilent, we have much less mp to pull from, therefore, even though we can heal a little better, we still run out of mp alot faster

i have pretty good set amount of mp but then again im a taru :P hp is like 1,100 and mp is close to 800

lol nice, my base mp is around 550 on average, varies by 30-50 based on gear, but even with refresh, especially if i'm casting magic damage spells (frost breath, etc) i burn through it way too fast

yeah those breath spells will take you down on mp really quick! still waiting to get my relic body :D so far only 1/5 on relic i got the legs, the legs are sexy for blu :D str+3 acc+5 magic acc+3 mp+10 hp+10 :D. actully i want either head or body next mostly body SH+refresh hehehe, the head is gonna be nice with breat spells ^^

I did this fight in less than 2 min @ lvl 69. All you need is an xp scroll and be around 100xp tnl. Just equip all your heavy damage spells and open up on him. When you get low on HP, use scroll to level up and unleash on him. It was a joke how easy it was.

nope i was lvl 70 with capped xp it was a legit g5 blu is my only job past lvl 40 i just did a bum rush and my spell setup is for /thf so its the perfect dd setup in pts i have +40 str +22 dex and +27 vit once you hit 70 go /thf if your not already and eat tav tacos cause cannonball is based on def and keep pro 4 or 5 up and cocoon up at all times and youll have 600+ def but in xp pts cannonball does anywhere from 1.2k and ive gone as far as 2.3k
