  • one question u no on blackberry curve 8520 , how to i remove A customised ringtone that i put on there and replace it with just the general ringtone for everyone back to normal?

  • YOUR AND IDOIT HOW WOULD SOMEONE STEAL YOUR CONTACTS LMAO IF IT ONLY SHOWS THERE NAME NOT NUMBER WHAT U THINK PEOPLE WELL STEAL THRRE NAMES HAHA

  • Ok My Problem Is That My Miss calls Are Going into My Email Box. NEED HELP

  • Having probs with blackberry desktop software. When I try to download music, it tells me....You have selected your blackberry device drive, there isn't enough space to synchronize your media, select another drive....HELP!

  • i just wanted to state, when you mention caps-locking letters, you failed to mention that with alt+right shift, CAP will actually appear in right hand corner, and you can type as many letters and words as you want in capitals, without holding any additional buttons.

--oh and to copy and paste, even easier trick . . . press (no need to hold) the left shift key, then scroll over what you would like to copy, click menu/trackball, copy . . .go wherever you would like to paste, left shift+trackball

  • What theme do you have?

  • @android529 I think it's called Verizon

  • @android529 thank you u help me delete 900 email!

  • hey, i started deleting messages like 10 min ago, but it still says deleting, and i cant turn off my fone, help!

  • you can hit alt and then the caps button to keep it on the secondary button like-^%(%^&$ and 43243153 and then hit alt again to go back to letters

  • What OS are you running?

  • I have a blackberry tour how to get a signature

  • Hi, i'd like to know if there's a way to cancel message sending just in case you hit enter accidentally..thanks.

  • i got mine almost a year now and i gotta say i love it

  • do these tips work on the newest blackberrys also

  • Old video but still relevant today. Thanks! You speak very well and articulate unlike many other vids on here.

  • will this work for new blackberrys such as the curve 8530?

  • fag

  • if you pres red while its in standby it stays in standby but the screen lights up so you can see if you have mesgages

  • you can also click the 'alt' key then the '^Aa' or shift key so you can type the second symbol on the letter without keeping a finger on the 'alt' key

  • i wish you would have pressed send on that text. i wonder what would've been going on in that person's mind when they read "This is a test. EBBBBBAY" lol

  • Very useful and nicely explained--thanks!

  • getting one tomorow my dad already gave me 350 $ for the gemini 8520

  • im new to blackberry! This was very helpful!

  • "Thanks ho."

When you see it Brix will be shat

  • or if say u just got an email u can go to ur sms inbox double click M and the emails appear

  • Thanks for the tips. I am still getting used to my 3 month old Bold 9700, which is my first smartphone. I've seen all 3 parts of that video.

  • lol on his messages look at the sixth one down and it says thanks ho... lol

  • Hey, BTW you CAN delete SMS, emails etc by pressing "delete" key on the key board and just confirm... if you want to type several alternate keys (1 intead of w, @ instead of p, numbers etc) you DONT have to keep the alt key pressed, it makes typing uncomfortable, just click "alt" and the "capslock" ... also you can select text simply by pressing capslock and scrolling the trackball, no menu key needed.

  • is there any way u can text faster....instead of textin the whole word out

  • LOL...have you heard of Txt talk or shorthand...instead of What The Fuck, its WTF, instead of Laugh My Ass Off, its LMAO, instead of Talk To Ya Later, its TTYL...and LOL is Laugh Out Loud.

  • @devonmcc910

Go to Options>>>Auto Text. There you can create "shortcuts." Example: I set one up for my address to be typed out when I type "adrs."

  • Awesome video! Thanks for the help!

  • OMG! Thanks for this video and the tips you just made my life easier !! Awesome !!! 5stars!!!

  • hows my spelling uiodshvb;dufvdisfvbadfjvbad;fkvbFUCKYOUdjbv;jbd

  • i got a blackberry 8330 orange its a good phone

  • just got the 8330

  • i am a teensger and looking at this phone... any suggesters?? Reply to my coment PLEASE

  • PLEASE work on you spelling. Otherwise it just depends on what you need in a phone. If you are just texting the 8330 is overkill. If you are interested a PDA phone with great email, SMS, and a good number of apps then this BB may be what you want.

  • i got a suggester, spend your money on spelling lessons.

  • sorry getting use to my new computers keyboars and i tried to type fast

  • My advise, get another phone. While I love the blackberry, it is probably overkill in the e-mail department and too lacking in the browser options for someone so young. Who knows it may work.

  • its a great phone and its very cheap now for the most part.

  • sorry... new keyboard...

  • im 19 nd i have the same phone.. its great.. if you use ur email a lot and have contacts with bbm then it'll be a great phone for you

  • i recommend it :)

im a teenager and i'm going to get it soon so i've been doing research like crazy. of course, it depends on your interests and things you're looking for in phones, but typical teen needs are things like texting and internet, which the curve supplys well :) (oh, and new keyboards are SO annoying.)

  • Omg, are you retarted? Ha!

  • sweet vid bro!

  • how do u get out of standby mode

  • wat i got a curve

  • if you push the END key it comes up briefly for you to see the time. but thats the only button that does something.

  • jonny429 help me. how do you add apps and memory 2 the micro sd card? send me a address or messages thanks

  • THANK YOU!...finnally a vid that is real and not some dumbass wasting my time

  • thank you, finally someone who speaks english and know what hes doing thanks for sharing the knowledge excellent guide and tutorial. i would enjoy a review of the BB tour if it may be so. thanks again. youre the man!

  • how do you add your music as a ringtone ? I'm very new to this thanks for all your help.

  • Search for a guide online. It's quite complicated to type it all out here in the comments and I'm sure there are a few good ones out there. Just make sure its MP3 for best results

  • @carebearfaith

got to your song if u have any one your phone go to the phone options button scroll down and it will say set as ringtone

  • @carebearfaith just go to media and scroll to the music u want as your ringtone and then press the blackberry menu button and scroll down to "add as ringtone"

  • Thank you, I enjoyed your video, What do you know, you learn something new everyday! Thank you for the tips! Cheers!

  • Question- I'm guessing everyone gets

internet on these things cause when

you put apps on they need the internet.

But say I wanted to put the twitter app

on mine, would I need the internet?

  • yes, because you would need a data connection so twitter can access its servers. Not to mention you would not be able to download twitter to your blackberry OTA anyways without a data plan. Having a blackberry without a data plan makes it almost useless to have one.

  • Thank you.

Do you know how much a data plan is?

  • Depends on what carrier you have. For Sprint its 10 bucks extra a month, and that is unlimited data and includes access to personal Emails. I believe most carriers charge about the same, $10.00

  • Oh wow really?

I have verizon. I saw a comment on

    someone elses video saying verizon

was like 50 bucks? And I was like whoa?

  • Actually you can use (Wi-Fi) for twitter and the browser too. If your device supports it

  • I have not heard of the 8330 supporting WiFi, Now other blackberry devices support wifi though.

    Hope this helps.

  • dam!!i had to figure all of this shit out by myself!! i needed you like 5 months ago,lol good video bro couldnt have done it better my self

  • Great video.....I definately can use the tips here you provided.....makes txtg a lot easier for sure......Thanx....

  • Excellent info for this newbie. Thanks!

  • yo do u go 2zion lutheran cus i ssaw on ur text it said zion????

  • no, that's my friend's band's name

  • thanks so much for this you juat made my life so much easier!

    thanks sweetie

    1

  • can you put the sms and mms icon on the front page?????????? aka the home screen??????????

  • Don't believe so

  • can a blackberry curve 8300 play youtube videos like if i went to youtube could i watch vids on it?

  • you can put it on the homescreen...open the main menu up, find the sms folder and click the blackberry key. select move and then move it where you want using the top row of the menu. that row represents the homescreen.

  • Gotta love hot keys!

  • hey man great video, helped me understand my new phone better, even though i have a blackberry pearl it still worked with right about everything that you talked about and i even figured out the MSG up and down keys for my phone its E/R for all the way up and C/V for all the way down for other pearl owners out there! and again gerat video dawg ! would like to see more

  • I got some ideas... just got to find some time to do the recording/editing :)

  • How do i turn the volume down by using the side buttons?

  • How do you program the right side (+/-) button to volume control

  • This is a test. EBBBBBAY.....man thats fucking epic.

  • whats the shortcut to lock keypad?

  • program the side key to lock your keys its easy

  • You can also hold the mute button on top, but it won't password protect your phone

  • if you hold the sym. button it will lock

  • your video was extremely helpful i undestand soooo much better! thanx

  • u can olso press space key to go down your text messages to, or hold ALT and scroll up and u can go up thru your messages faster
