The few words as I see without "qu" is usually not english in nature.

to weylin qu doesnot sound lik k or w but a mixture of the two. would you rathert pet a kitten or a quitten or a plant a willow or a quillow. and words like that just look weird so there is a point with having k and w and qu.

aslo this is not always the rulr. q dose not have to be with u. like in iraq which the q sounds like a k and doesn't have a u

Proven false, here are some words that have the letter "q" without "u." Quadi, qat, qindars, qintar, qis, etc. But, yes this is very true. A large variety of "q" you see with "u."
