  • the white hair dude looks so proud of his playing while kazuhito is like 10 times better but seems so objective. like he's playing for himself to enjoy.

  • 1:31 "I'll show you how this shits done"

  • @crazywildmutt HAHAHAHAHAHHA you made my day :)

  • he is eating out his guitar lol 1:22

  • from Jose' Sepulveda, the Brazilian....El Hermeterec.......to everybody out there who heard and watched this video......you have just witnessed the greatest classical guitarist in the world, Kazuhito Yamashita! Larry coryell notwithstanding, this performance is amazing and there is nobody on planet EARTH who can surpass the great Kazuhito. Yes, even I think he sometimes plays things too fast , but it is simply a testament to his amazing technique! All hail Kazuhito, the leitmotif.

  • Yamashita to Coryell after the gig: "ah, Mr. Fumblefingers-you practice harder next time."

  • from Jose' Sepulveda, the Kid From Brazil........Kazuhito Yamashita is so good that I almost feel that I don't need to ever watch any other classical guitarist play. Nobody living today can surpass what he can do.....he is touched by God.

  • Impresionante, demasiado talento

  • a quien no le gusta esto es una vestia

  • the best of the four seasons

  • did anybody noticed the tuning during 1:53?

  • the guy on the right is FUCKING INSANE !

i have never ever seen a guitar played this fast on finger.such an incredible technique.

by the way, the guy on the left is a fucking joke.

  • can somebody tell me if kazuhito use his nails?

  • I do not understand one thing: what is the second guitar for? If this is enough, I wanna then play something together with (let's say) Angello Debarre or Biréli Lagréne. I hope I could chatch few notes if it was not too fast..LOL

  • amazing!

  • He very discretely adjusts his tuning at 1.05 :P

  • 480p is available on wIozsNiw1pY

  • Well, Kazuhito Yamashita was born in Nagasaki - so there you can witness one of the radioactive fallout effects....

  • LOL the jerk at 1:09 uncovers a somewhat satisfied expression even after a sloppy shred

  • just sayin .. but the gray haired dudes kinda sloppy ..

  • lolz wen i saw this i know its racist but i thought DAMN ASIAN PEOPLE CAN DO EVERYTHING (and they kinda can)

  • The old Lady on kazuhito's side does not honor her pants enougth to use fingers instead pick.

  • guy with glasses = fail

  • Yamashita's crisp precision blows that other guy away. Why didn't the guy know better than to get out there with him?

  • Seriously Larry? Seriously? I mean he's a better guitar player than I am but you couldn't tell that from this video.

  • Larry looks at the sheet music each time he realizes he is ruining the piece, and I think he can´t read it, he just turns his eyes to the paper and imagines he is reading a tab trying to forget all his problems and shame =[

  • @IMBAGO243 The Uccla Girl...

  • it had to be a japanese!!!!

  • I wish I was Asian =/

  • hardcore from 1:37

  • After 1:33 when he is going down the fret, it looks like he is fretting using the joint of his index finger, why why?

  • you're not supposed to make mistakes when you are playing with a master

  • i dont fucking understand that fingerpicnifgng technique i fucvking hlo ve it <3 yes im drunk

  • chido

  • THATS THE GUY FROM THE HANGOVER,, "YOU GONNA FUCK ONNN MEEE!!!"

  • PEOPLE!!! PLEASE PROVIDE ACTUAL TABS FOR THIS PERFORMANCE!!

There's a deal of various tabs for guitar pro, but they are all suggesin' to do this with FIVE guitars at the same time, whereas it sounds best with two like in this video!!

    PLZ HELP!!

  • This dudes a fuckin machine gun! Whats the noob doing beside him :S

  • Guitar Hero: Nivel Hiper-Ultra-Mega Experto

  • @ONIMENOKAZUKI They just need 80 more buttons and 6 strum bars first

  • this is unbelievable hilarious... kazuhito is a machine gun,

somebody knows where to find the tabs???? big request

  • what guitar is on the left? ovation? is it a nylon string guitar? the neck looks pretty narrow...

  • 20 people think larry coryell is awsome

  • yamashita is a boss....

  • ho ly fuck

  • A chi ha lasciato commenti sul'eventuale confronto fra i due dico: Ma perche' non pensiamo solamente a goderci lo spettacolo e la musica?

  • eat guitar

    om nom nom nom

  • @RebelliousYouth LOLLL i was just about to comment that :P

  • Larry Coryell makes it look difficult and Kazuhito Yamashita makes it look easy.

  • It's not that the white guy in this video is bad... he's not. He's shredding up Vivaldi with some mistakes. It's that the Asian guy makes him look like shit. They should've found a better partner for the Asian.

  • Crack is whack, Larry .

  • I feel bad for larry here. Not really what he does best.

  • Para mi Yamashita es el guitarrista mas rápido del mundo!!

  • He is dancing with his guitar Oo Awesome !

  • no cut shape guitar...wow!!!

  • What is this, a joke? The moron with the electric guitar shouldn't even have bothered trying. Maybe he should have spent more time rehearsing and less on his perm.

  • @nammyung If you can't tell an acoustic guitar from an electric one maybe you're pretty moronic yourself

  • 18 personas son sordas

  • FUCKIN GRAY PUBES RUINS THE SHIT!!!!

  • my ears started bleeding at 1:05 but at 1:22 they healed

  • 1:05 - 1:09 what the fuck? :P

  • @Vegetablesaregood

i know right? how the fuck does he shred so perfectly without any mistakes? xD

  • 1:33 "il show you how this shits done..." :)

  • @somekoreanfob

    true* xD

  • No offense, but is he an autist or something ? Because sometimes autism could be a prodigy. I ask because only his expressions playing guitar.

  • @Dongdot123 Doubt it. Musicians tend to make strange faces when playing. This is especially observable in string instruments. Just look at the great cellists--watch Yo Yo Ma play for five minutes and count the facial expressions he cycles through.

  • partitura please o tabs please :D great video

  • @raluxxXxheartless OMG, are you really asking for a tab ?

Because i don't think anybody here would able to give a tab of what yamashita played.

  • What is the year? Must be very ancient video (Im referring to Larry's glasses)

  • @RikuTheDog

    The 80's

  • any chances of an acoustic tab which is not a weird metal adaption?``???

  • If I was a lesser man I would have suffered from a premature ejaculation at 1:49 .

  • OMG! WOW! Rising an eyebrow and tipn’ me hat……………………….

Kazuhito Is On Fire In The Dead Of Winter……………………..

  • Best version of Winter on guitar.

  • bravo!

  • @cmedinaf exactaly my main bro or chick lol

  • this is what heaven must sound like well execpt for the dude with the glasses

  • I think the man with glasses was splendid! Perhaps out of his element, but still good indeed. For everyone slandering him; why don't you try and do better?

  • the guy on the left sucks!

  • if only yamashita had a twin brother that was also amazing at guitar, than this video would be perfect.

  • oh my gosh gray pubes over here on the left ruins it, good thing kazuhito is there to save him.

  • @ElielMaster jajajajajajajaj The 1:05 part just deserves to be in a looped video of it´s own.

  • Larry is there for comic relief.

  • hahahahahahahahaah super like

  • Poor Larry, he must be up there pissing himself having to play with Yamashita.

  • Which one is Kazuhito Yamashita?

  • @freeradicals the good one ^^

  • On thie clip Classic Guitar beat Acoustic...

  • An other reason that i like music!!!!

  • dunkoff larry :D

  • Stick to accompanying Larry

  • That's Larry Coryell playing with him. He's a music educator and performing/recording jazz guitarist for many decades.

  • I thought I knew what guitar playing was after 39 years of a love relationship with the instrument.... until I saw Kazuhito play ... play is not the appropriate word ... more like ... until I saw Kazuhito envelope himself in the guitar, becoming one with it, pour gas all over himself, strike a match and set himself, his very soul on fire, do I now truly know what guitar playing is. Hands down... Master of Masters

  • cool...! (Y)

  • OMG!! Holly COW!! Fucking Genius!!

  • YAMASHITA IS A GENIUS OMG, I'M SO GOING FOR HIS CONCERT

  • i think the guitar didn´t help so much the white guy but is one of the hardest music to play in Classic guitar.

  • It would be much better if larry would just learn this without a pick, I think that would sound much more clean and better, just my opinion though

  • This s sacrilegious. How can you play classical music on an acoustic guitar? Die hard classical music fans cannot tolerate this.

  • @insanmukmin1 I love classical music and I think it's great to hear new interpretations of different pieces.

  • Класс

  • This performance makes Sir. Larry dude look real bad (Ay...Staccatos..)

    Anyway, just Aaawwwsome!

  • HOLLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy shit the asian is tremeloing with his fingers

  • ..el puto amo

  • This needs more VIEWS!! This is awesome.

  • The sad thing is Coryell messes up/plays horrendously and then has that smirk on his face like he's having fun

  • is he on standard tunning?

  • Larry Coryell is not a technically accurate player but is a very passionate player, especially when improvising. That is what he is best at.

  • i love how he plays with such a happines very nice duo interpratation

  • fuuuuuuuuucking great!!!!!!

  • Larry Cordiel or Michael Landon

  • Look at how he played the toccatas at high frets man. It's beyond human. He's not a human fyi.

  • monstruoso

  • oh my god I just had an orgasm

  • This video is epic for sooo many reasons!!

  • Larry's playing is embarrassingly bad.

  • tos tios de lo mas exelentes y estupendos guitarristas wooooooooow

  • i dont understand why the yamashita choose this guy to play with him. he seems to really suck comparing both, yamashita kicks that guy's ass, and he's playing a classical guitar with his fingers...

  • @faipas49 well whats the big deal bout playing classical guitar with fingers?its the way it should be done, not with plectrums. and you have to understand that larry, playing acoustic guitar, must use a plectrum so he cant hit notes that fast...

  • @InbictaProductionzZ dude, i know that classical guitar should be played with fingers, i play classical guitar for 9 years -.- i just said yamashita kicks larrys ass with no plectrum, and that's amazing, "whats the big deal"?

  • so funny at 0.010 kazuhito is ready to play and looks at coryell and he just thinks: i am so getting humiliated now...

  • Larry who?

  • @MrSnorlax22 exactly ..Larry who.. 1:07 he fcked up so badly as amateur. what he doing with Kazuhito

  • Yamashita's fingerings are incredible (talk about painfully executed chords) more but importantly the result is very musical.

  • Its not about who is better. Its all about music...

  • kazuhito*

  • this is fuckin awesome!!!! but I have to say I'd like it even more if it were John Mclaughlin, he's got a fluidity on steel that would really complement kazuhiti

  • Uauuu

    \°/

  • You must not applaud between two movements of a piece, but if I were there would be hard don't clap hands.

  • 1:03 orvido absorluto, hauhauhauhau...

é foda, no começo eu num botei fé....

  • larry you suck

  • wow the white guys not very good...too many muted notes

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude i think it's been done on purpose... to show the difference of playing using a pick and without it... and of course to show how without is "better"

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude I'm not sure if he's actually doing that on purpose or if his finger's aren't fast enough because classical players will often do that to give lead to the lead guitarist.

  • @TheEpicGuitarist so classical players will play like shit on purpose in order make the lead seem better? never heard that before. i can understand playing softly, but not playing like someone just handed you the composition.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheEpicGuitarist haha, noob

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude he came from jazz

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude he uses a steel-string guitar, which needs much more pressure on the strings than the plastic-string, so it's bit harder to play this kind of music on the steel-stringed one.

  • @immortalisblog well duh. steel strings are no excuse for playin like shit.

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude whatever.

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude

That's because he's not even a classical guitarist.

  • @ahhhhhhhhdude

he's using a electric guitarr, it's not the same effect in a acoustic you have to scratch the string and pus the note, in electric only within pushing the note is enough...

that's qhy he have all that "missing" notes :D

  • Damnit!, i realy hate larry..

  • haha larry sucks, yamashita owns

  • i have invented way to make sounds of viol muhaaaaaa and a full skelatal somwthing shhh i cant say hear those we don not spaek of are listening

  • What the hell are you saying? I dont get a word :D

  • Yamashita is God..

  • Anyone has the score? please I've been looking everywhere but nothing.

  • well, about the comments of people who say those are both acoustic guitar, larry's one is, kazuhito's isnt

    2nd

a classical guitar is not supposed to be played with a pick, your fingers and sometimes, nails, will do the trick

kazuhito is a virtuoso, larry's good, but, well, he doesnt stand a chance xD

  • I just got schooled O.o Bravo

  • I thought that you hate Asians? :(

  • well, the asian kid was good. the other lad couldnt really keep up. im sure he could have if it were slower! however i dont think it should have been played i think it belongs up at this pace

  • its emo the master japaneesse

  • 中光榮狗屎

  • Now this is something else than all those terrible metal versions on the guitar of this piece. Bravo!

  • Comment removed

  • OMFG!!!!!!! This Yamashita Kazuhito is amazing!!! I love this arrangement for two guitars...

  • Awesome. It's incredible that two guitars can play an orchestral piece, with no loss of effect

    still... it's way too fast

It seems that if they played it slower, they would have been able to deliver a better music

Apparently, that was not the goal

  • too bad larry had to muck up the performance.

  • @Geisttanzer I'm sorry but Larry is completely out of his league in this context. And you saying that Kazuhito "just plays" is beyond ignorant. He broke new ground numerous times with his transciptions of works never before played on guitar. He invented new techniques on the classical guitar. He plays with passion, expression, technical brilliance. He's used his stature to promote new composers, premiering over 60 new works for classical guitar. etc. etc. etc.

  • @mcj3691 He's a great guitar player, yes, but he takes away the art from playing and stays only with the technique, I don't really see what's so great about a guy who can reproduce a whole orchestra using only 6 strings, his version of Pictures at an Exhibition is completely boring. To me, Kazuhito is a mere display of virtuosity, and if I want to listen to virtuosos I'd rather listen to Joe Satriani or Steve Vai, I don't want a guy imitating the london philarmonic orchestra with a guitar

  • @Geisttanzer well that's one of the great things about the classical guitar, like the piano, can produce the sounds of an orchestra but in smaller sound.
