  • We miss the great singers of the past. Sinatra, Como, Crosby, Martin, and many others.

  • 10 people need to be shot

  • Frank Sinatra is god

  • Nos encanta esta canción y nos gustó utilizarla en nuestra página para hablar de la mejro forma de cuidar la piel :) ¿Os pasáis a conocernos?

    Estamos en Facebook: /TCUIDA

  • This is a song written by a man afraid of his own blood, to his blood.

  • i felt a tingle ;).. wait i still do

  • Who thinks of the movie Gamer towards the end when Micheal C. Hall is singing this

  • @JDOG12316 well he was lip syncing to the Sammy Davis Jr. version

  • @JDOG12316 pff, i don't think of him as Micheal, i think of him as Dexter

  • now that i know the 'yang' to it all...good riddins.

  • I am a fetus and I like this song

  • ok swag

  • The master! Belting out one of his classics....

Michael Buble is his natural successor though and does a brilliant job.

  • @TheHartlepoolgirl Can't agree with you there. Michael Buble is,quite honestly, a pretender,a commercial product. Not only does he use autotune - something Frank would never do - but he uses Riddle, Jenkins etc arrangements; hardly original. I appreciate that he is bringing these wonderful songs to a modern audience, but in my opinion, Michael Buble is a mere imitation, he seems plastic. See Kurt Elling or many other singers who, wrongfully, don't get publicised for new ideas.

  • @Milestones93 I agree with you in regards to Michael Buble, but there is more to it than the use of arrangements from Nelson Riddle, Gordon Jenkins etc. Take Witchcraft as an example, the writing, arrangemnt, orchestra, singer, recording people and many other elements have to be in perfect balance to make a song a winner. In fact Witchcraft plays a big roll in all of this. Never met Frank but did Nelson, a quite unassuming man who new how to produce good music, Frank's favorite man

  • @JazzLover2011 Agreed. Another point is Frank's regular use of Miller, Sweets and Viola (amongst others) and his relationship with the 'studio'; orchestra members etc. All these seemingly unimportant things are actually very significant when making records; it gets the best out of everyone, they know Sinatra's character and 'method'. I completely agree with you on Witchcraft; every aspect of the recording has character, which I feel is absent in modern recordings (not just Buble)

  • yes we had it all in the sixties sinatra bennett elvis the beatles the beach boys marvin gaye jimmi hendrix and more , plus all the movie stars such icons we will never see like of again.

  • Sinatra is the best and this is a great song. Take a look at this dedication. It is great see a professional singer pay dedication who is not an impersonator but a number 1 pop selling artist in his own right! Type in: ive got you under my barisons

  • Just appreciate the music! Little kids, it does not make you special to show off how young you are and how legit that makes you just because you're listening to a legend that everyone knows.

  • @girlafraid96

I just have discovered this song !

    Ouaou !

And great post that you have written.

  • I'm 15, I apologize for my generation's "music".

  • Oh, Frankie..... :D

  • untill i started reading comments i didnt realise there was a dislike bar.

i guess the dislike bar is just reflective of the erectile size of the male gendered disliker......

  • 8 people did not get this under their skin.

  • it's cool the way he shakes his head side to side

  • I've tried so, not to give in.

  • Wow, only 8 dislikes out of 1272. A testimony to the quality of Frank's music.

  • @Pikey1517 i dont even know why there is 8 dislikes xD

  • what year was this made?

  • only the berry best of music

  • Thumbs up if your 14 and listening to this.

    I love Frank Sinatra's music <3

  • @KatsumakiKupo You give me hope in the future of the world.

  • People shouldn't get angry on the Youtube wall of such a magnificent song, we should all hug and contemplate the beauty of what Frankie gave us that day when he recorded that song. Thank you Mr. Sinatra.

  • every sinatra video i watch on youtube, i always see comments from 14-18 year olds pointing out their age. i don't get it, just 'cause you listen to something other than the mainstream chart music you feel you have to let everyone know.

just appreciate the brilliant entertainment that this man provides and enjoy his perfect voice

  • Listening to Frank Sinatra mix, advertisement for ADIDAS comes on with some hip hop bullshit. God damnit.

  • I did not know that this was originally a Frank Sinatra song and not from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Double retro and just as awesome.

  • I'm 15 and love Hip-Hop/Rap, Heavy Metal, and everything inbetween. I've been to multiple Heavy Metal shows and also many Rap concerts and I'll tell you what, I love Frank Sinatra more than anything I've ever listened to. I recently discovered the wonder of his music and I wish I've know about him since the day I was born. I'm absolutely obsessed with Frank Sinatra now.

  • OMG PERFECT

  • *takes deep breath* thumbs up if you hate thumbing up comments that say thumbs up but be cautious thumb this up and you are surely a contradiction to yourself becoming what you hate and you should therefore surely explode.

  • is it jazz?

  • @TheLucy1327 Yes, it is. :) Most of Sinatra's stuff is classified as Classical Jazz; Big Band most of the time if I'm not mistaken.

  • One of the best music videos ever made, if not THE best.

  • He's so amazing <3 I'm frickin' 16 and I'm in love with him; more young people need to listen to music like this; this is where it's at!

  • I'm 18 months old. In fact, I don't even know how to speak yet!

  • The only man I've seen whom has swagger and a voice out of this world!...

  • Michael Buble does a lot of the same songs! I LOVE THEM BOTH!!! =D He's so much classier then the guys now. If he was here and young and came near me or looked at me, I think I'd melt! =)

  • good god he is too cool for words!!

  • @misscoutureland Thats RIGHT!

  • Frank Sinatra = coolness itself!

  • i feel like i was born in the wrong era when i listen to this!! <3

  • @fleshdecay23 Born in the wrong era? Music transcends time.

  • @ChiTownDoubleUp23 too bad we could never enjoy he's work live :(

  • @fleshdecay23 so am i!! :D

  • Thumbs up if you don't give a crap about how old anyone is.

    Long live Frank Sinatra!

  • swag <3

  • 1:11 - The Best Part in my opinion

  • stop asking for thumbs up.

  • Not one person has dared say that's ironic in 3 months that's ironic

  • This song will never be unpopular or forgotten...

  • Can anyone tell me what year this was performed in? I need it for a music assignment! :) My guess is about 1965, but if anyone has an exact year than that would be fantabulous!!! Thanks guys! :)

  • Thumbs up if you're listening to this in 3045 'coz you're a badass time traveler.

  • @MrFitzonic lol good one

  • @MrFitzonic haha xD.

  • Thumbs up if you don't care what year you're listening to this in.

  • Curto muito esse Sinatra desde menino.

  • Hi, I'm 83 and I remember listening to this as a young boy, lol jk, old people don't know how to use computers, duh.

  • everybody just shut up and enjoy Frank

  • 7 people are dermatologists...

  • @forevfun96 BAHAHAHAHA LOLS

  • @Mexicancookie97

Actually, I'm watching this in 2065

  • Francis Albert Sinatra is the reason i'm here.

  • no one cares if Landau Eugene Murphy Jr bought you here. To be honest i dont even know who the hell he is. Just listen to the damn song!

  • no one cares if Landau Eugene Murphy Jr bought you here. To be honest i dont even know who the hell he is. Just listen to the damn song!

  • Hay 7 increibles no me gusta.......tendran cerebro??

  • Here's a model idea, thumbs up if you like the song. Not the comment, the song!

  • Landua Murphy Jr. is the reason I picked this song as a solo (:

  • Comment removed

  • Landau Jr. got me here too. I never did like this song but when I heard Landau sang it, I fell in love with it. I like the way Landau sang it.

  • *Swoon* <3 Why was I born the wrong time??

  • Sinatra has style but he doesn't sing with a sustained line; it's always short, as if talking. Landau, on the other hand, does have a long line and that is one of the reason Landau's singing is more captivating.

  • I am 59yo, I love Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, he killed it, and brought tears to my eyes, but please don't compare him with Sinatra.. His voice still needs maturation (you can even tell from the beginning of the show to the end how much it had matured), and Frank had a one of a kind voice, his phraseology changed over the years, and what you refer to as his not having a sustained line is just all wrong.

  • @ebman88, Contestant Landau, while not totally polished as Sinatra, did sparkle in his own emerging style. Sinatra's persona is that of an aloof big city hot shot whereas Landau was less high flown, more warm and approachable with his inviting smile. He sang his heart out with his long luscious line and perfect diction. I'll still be spining Sinatra's CDs a zillion times, but Landau's CDs will coming into my collection soon too.

  • @leopianotuner, I agree 100%. There is a place for both of them in my collection and I only look for Landau to get better over time. It makes me happy that there is still a following today with the younger generation and this genre of music. Move over Michael Buble!!!

  • Frank lip-synching? Does that sound like something he would do?

  • im inlove...!!

  • Landau eugene murphy jr. got me here :P

  • thumbs up if you're <18 and listen to this

  • @jorick92 I'm 15 *o*

  • @jorick92 I'm 15. but thats close right?

    lol

  • @jorick92 fuck im under and im listening to this

  • @kratos948 calm down buddy

  • pimpin' ain't easy.

  • @herpderpeton LMFAO

  • esa cancion me la dedico mi novia...hermosa cancion

  • Good Taste is why i am here .

  • Interesting to compare this version - so soon after the commercial record's release - with later live versions of "Skin." You hear him trying out different approaches to the song, but still somewhat constrained by the way he did it on the record.

  • Comment removed

  • Interesting, never seen 50's Capitol material 'mimed' on Telly

  • If you're suggesting he's lip-synching to his '56 Capitol recording, you're wrong. This is all fresh. Aside from the difference in his phrasing and pitch from the released record, this version is missing the famous trombone solo.

  • @sinatramike123 Sorry, I was replying to the wrong clip. This one is V nice, Yeah live of course. Sound like a Very very close approximation to the Riddle session too. (backing) Would love to restore it (am Archive Video Engineer)

  • 6 people arent under sinatra´s skin!

  • Con este clima, solo se me antoja estar en un silloncito, con un cafecito escuchando a Sinatra! My favorite song!

  • #Swag <3

  • Sinatra is just simply incredible. He captured my heart, but it takes a lot for me to faint. :D

  • UGH America may have talent, but M*A*S*H brought me here. Amazing musicality, incredible breath control. His ability to work a phrase and hold back musically until it is most effective is far beyond any b.s. artist on the corporate owned radio to date. Genres do matter, rap is awesome, and people are as talented as people back then, we've just lost our ability to understand and display our true emotions. Everyone and everything is about money. stupid.

  • I was brought here from the movie Gamer...

  • SINATRA RULES!

  • Great job! Kudos and thanks for sharing with all of us.

  • @ravechazer209 its a completely different genre, your 13 you dont understand that. you cant compare sinatra to rap, you can compare him to say Buble or something. ps i hate lil wayne too

  • @ravechazer209

WTF? You're definitely a kid...genre's don't matter. Good music is good music. Grow up, hit puberty and come back later. Grown folks are talking right now.

  • you can tell sinatra had talent unlike many singers today. frank is an ace and the rest are not even a face card

  • 6 people are going to hell. Unfortunately, Frank Sinatra won't get a chance to beat them, as they are going to hell.

  • if only people were as talented now as they were back then...

  • same here

  • Oh. Love.

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS, THIS ARTIST MAKES ME DANCE INSIDE AND HE IS TRULY ADORABLE. I LOVE MR. SINATRA, CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF HIM AND THE ORCHESTRA...

  • THE CHAIRMAN HAS SPOKEN.

  • a bit lumpy

  • I'm 1 and I've loved this song for 50 years!!!

  • Ol' Blue eyes, a man with all the class in the world.

  • I'm 19 and I'm getting real fucking sick of people posting their ages in comments to get attention...

  • @truemusic53 ikr?

  • @truemusic53 basically Annoying People like you seeking for thumbs up

  • @AngryniggaComments sarcasm bro.

  • @truemusic53 I'm 736 years old and I've got to say I'm really enjoying all this new music, ^_^.

  • @Alicaint love pledians :P

  • @athletichunta What's a pledian?

  • @truemusic53 but you just do it

  • @OriginalMasterKiller It was a sarcastic joke. My apologies.

  • the truth of this song makes me sick. my heart is betraying my life.

  • Frank is great here, but let's not forget the real talent here- Cole Porter.

  • directing camera moves

    conducting the band

    singing

and nailing both those chicks as a capper

    #sinatraswagger

  • I'm 14 and this is MY kind of music... LOVE IT.

  • @Degenerossi I'm 13, this is a whooooollle lot better than Katy Perry's ET crap.

  • @seethebob The biggest difference between Katy Perry and this is that this will be around for another 50 years and Last Friday Night will be just that.

  • Landau eugene's cover is better ! =)

  • Seether gave this song like, a COMPLETELY different feel, wow.

First time I heard this song, it was the Seether version. Now I REALLY see how good it was.

  • @WarBirdRobert ok u cool gangsta

  • I'm 16. And Frank is my musical idol. my generation know nothing of music, not to mention the musical genius that is Frank Sinatra!

"Frank was nothing but a boozer and a womanizer. To others, he was a GOD – and a boozer and a womanizer."

    R.I.P

  • @Madmerlined YAY FOR IT NOT BEING VEVO WHO CLAIMS THE RIGHTS TO SONGS THAT AREN'T THERES.

  • @Madmerlined i know what you mean man. im 17 and love this stuff. music today all sucks and has no meaning or soul behind it. frank will always be the best.

  • @toasty303 Me too!

  • @toasty303 Oooh you're 17? And you like this music? That's so cool because usually no teens like this music on You Tube. Twat,

  • @mustangred fuck off dude. i said that because i was relating to the other guy's comment. no need to be a dick about it and complain. don't be such a whiny bitch.

  • and I like you.....under my skin....swoon!! Miss ya Frank!

  • No one in the history of the universe, not even the original writer or singer of this song, could ever sing this like Sinatra. They couldn't even come close.

  • @PivotProDD Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.

    Search him up.

  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up if you're listening to this in the twenty first century.

  • thumbs up if your listening to this in 2011!!!

  • @Mexicancookie97 no we're listening to it in 1956 when it first came out! :p

  • @Mexicancookie97 i hate when people say this so much, and i thought it was the kids only saying it for songs between 2002-2008. please don't say this again.

  • umm as soon as landau does it for a long time and hes considered the best singer EVER then we can say he "outfranked" frank until then, sorry

  • Fuck the advetizment!!!!

  • I a

have been drinking, but i can honestly say Frankie , you changed my life. You taught me to know life, be here for yourself, I love you and I know you'd love me. Frankie, your a man the world and I won't soon forget the next drink I take will be for you and what's left of this sad and fucked up world Frankie I will always love you. You left this world behind not knowing what you meant./ But the world is your legacy. Here's to you Frank ,,, I love you.

  • @thefuckhut Well said buddy =)

  • Frank Sinatra is incompirable, so stop.

  • SIMPLY... THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Um...would it be blasphemous to say Landau out-Franked Frank?

    Coz he did.

  • Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. sounds more like Frank than Frank does!

  • This is my favorite sinatra song, I think it's his best song, I wonder what year it came out?

  • those who dislike are just hating on the fact that they can't have a playboy entrance like Old blue eyes can.
