I didn't like the music at all in the Sims 2. In the first Sims, the piano music during Build Mode was so pretty.

totally agree! when i first got hte sims 2 i was like "wheres the pretty build mode music?" and i was a little relieved when i got Open For Business and they had Sims 1 music on the Shopping channel on your stereo

Oh I didn't even notice Open for Business had it. I disliked that expansion pack so much I rarely ever used the business feature.

The music at the begining (the first 5 seconds) is from Final Fantasy 12. The song is called

"空賊への夢" (don´t ask me, what that means).

My sister has got the soundtrack. Do you know?

I've always been a big fan of the music from makin' magic, but I have never found out who made it, where it originally came from, becuase I heard it used on something else (not this song though). Someone should research where it came from.
