  • How do you get away with using copyrighted music????? Lovely video, as usual!

  • @enjoythevoyage Marion, I haven't a clue why. But I'm glad it is still original. The song so fits the sentiments involved. Now I am off to visit your channel. I'm sure there are a gazillion changes.

  • I hope everything turns out well.

  • Thank you for the nice thought. This was back in 2006. He lived a good and happy life and we miss him. We laid him down in 2008 and he is buried on our hillside with his mother.

  • OMG!!!!!! He looks so cute rolling around like that. It's so sad he's gone. He shall never be forgotten.

  • This is my favorite video of Knicky because it shows how he was always wandering free and asking for his treats at Gram's house and our's. He had a sweet life. We do miss him.

  • So sorry for your loss. :-( We had a Cushnoid dog, poor little guy.

That Knicky sure was handsome! Rolling in the snow like that he looks like a really small Yakut horse. Hang in there.

  • Ahh, thanks so much. He was such a hoot! Mr Personality! He and the cat were so funny together. In his younger years Knicky probably would not have been such a quiet ride. lol This past year the cat was always taking rides around the yard and kept ol' SnickerDoo company!

  • So sorry to westernhorselover4ever (I think) When I went to respond I deleted your lovely comment by mistake and cannot locate you to say thank you. He was a real talker, wasn't he!!

  • It's so awesome to see how loved he is! We' had a 20-year old pony we bought despite her terrible case of Cushings. She was a joy and we never regretted getting her. We called her "Good Karma" and she was.

I love the part of the vid where Knick is rolling and Mikita is rolling behind him.

  • Ghod he is a dutiful little man, I say "is" because he will forever live on in your hearts, and it's easy to see you had him spoiled. I have a Mini her name is Pixie. Got her when she was 7 months old and raised her in the house with my dog. She ended up being 29" tall. She runs with 3 of my other kids now, two Apps and a Arab. You ask if I had Mules, No... Just horses all of which I got as foals.

  • Even though I have a Stallion and 5 Mares, two Geldings, I don't breed. I'm a firm believer in "If you don't need, don't breed". There are too many unwanted and unloved kids out there for me to add to the pane.

Anyway, I can't help but to get a tear in my eyes watching Mr. Knicky. He is lucky and God has given you a special gift... Genesis 1:28. I'm sure he smiles down on you my friend...

    Jake

  • I just wonted to post this link, now that I can see without tearing up...

I just wonted to post this link, now that I can see without tearing up...

  • Link?? Not showing. And I'm sorry this teared you up. It was actually done at a very happy time. He had improved dramatically. That next summer was just wonderful. In the summer of 2007 he started not thriving again so we let him do most anything he wanted. He soaked it up like a rag!! LOL We never owned Knicky. He owned US!

  • LOVED IT!!!

  • Thank you! He was the neatest character, a personality the size of the biggest horse that ever lived!! Please see his last video if you liked this one. It's a HOOT!!! He is with his new best friend!

    Do you have mules?

  • Is this Knicky, the pony that died ?

Thís lovely little pony ? I only feel more sorry for you.. =( He looks so sweet, poor you.. =(

  • He looks very different in the summer. See him in "Knick Knack summer 2006"

  • I've seen it a couple of minutes ago. He also looks there so cute.. I still don't know what to say.. I hope you'll be okay..

  • Thank you. It is such an enormous hole left for such a tiny little pony. But his life was good. When our pain leaves we will be left with all wonderful loving memories of his lively personality. But for now we cry.

  • I understand, condoled with your lovely pony =(

  • my shetland has cushings as well, they are prone to it! mine is only 9 years old tho, we have tried everything and nothing seems to be helping her, if you have any advice could u let me know, really hope you both have a lot more brilliant times together.

  • sow sweet, my horse is dying becouse of that desiease...hes only 13, thats sad.

  • So sorry. My old mare's daughter, Sassy, got it bad in her teens. I have started giving him Vita-E and Selinium crumbles and he bounced back fantastically. I suggest you try it too. It might work for you too!!

  • I really love your little knicky!!!

He looks like a teddy. The diffrent is: he's a pony.

    But that doesn't matter.^^

  • Hey Kiddo

He is a very huggable bear too! He just turned 30 a few days ago! He is out mowing our lawn as I type. :)

  • Aww. His so cute. Hope he gets over the disease. Hope you get a lot more years of enjoyment out of him and he out of you. good luck! =)

  • Hi T.

Have been checking out Trinket And knicky ... so far...wish we were closer. Sa.

  • Shetlands are so cute when they roll! =)

  • :) Rolling is one of his favorite sports!

  • do let lose around your house

  • He has scheduled times out on the lawn. His grazing is being tightly managed because of his founder and Cushing's disease, so he gets hay in his paddock and senior feed, then out for an hour in the AM and an hour or 2 in the afternoon, then evenings in his paddock with hay.

  • could he still get cushing's disease again.

  • He has it. It has just improved to the point where he is enjoying life again. The founder is all over with and his hooves have returned to the point that no one can tell he has ever foundered. ALl rotation has reversed to a normal position. SO he has very healthy feet again. But the Cushings is still a problem for him.

  • poor guy is it really painfully

  • No. He seems pretty content now. Thanks for asking. His founder is all gone now with healthy hooves.

  • i don't no to much about cushings disease could you tell me more about it please:D

  • Equine Cushing's disease is caused by a tumor in the pituitary gland, which is responsible for the production of hormones. The cells within the tumor produce excess hormones, creating an imbalance in the horse's body. They have anormal dense curly hair growth and don't shed well. They often founder as well as get a huge increased appetite but loose muscling. There is no real cure.

  • thanks.sounds awful

  • i love the way he comes when you call his name!:D

  • Thaat"s because he is as spoiled as his mother was. Calling means probable treats!

  • thats the cutest pony aww so cute

  • he's so cute

  • Thank you. I hope you see his other videos. He was my daughter's pony, born 3 weeks apart. They grew up together and he is very special. His mother was my childhood pony! He will be 30 in 5 more months!

  • thats so cool the way you had he's mother and now your daughter has her son its nice you have kept him most people sell thier childhood pony when they out grow them!he looks good for 30!

  • omg ig he still alive

  • Hi. Sorry I just got to reply. Knicky runs the place around here! He solicit carrots and apples from the neighbors too. I had to retrain him from jumping up on one neighbor's windowsill for cookies when they sold and the new neighbor did not appreciate him! LOL It is hunting season now so he is in with the others. As of today HE IS VERY MUCH still going strong.

  • I LOVE this one. I also like the Knock Knock one.

  • I did not read the story behind Knicky until after I sent you a reply. That is something 29, and mom is 33. WOW!

  • I'm glad you read the story posted. Mom was 33 when we laid her down many, many years ago. She was my childhood pony. Knicky is her last baby still living. He was my daughter's pony, born 3 weeks apart. I am making a video of memories but am having a hard time doing it but it will come eventually. I will put up one from this summer without his winter coat for viewing. And visit your vids.

  • Sad, huh? No snow this year! I think we plowed 4 or 5 times and never had to bucket the banks back. If the rain we had this summer had been snow we would have had 100 feet of the stuff. Our weather is cuckoo! We are having a really bad hay year because of no sun and so much rain. Floods like I have never seen before around here.

  • So where are you from? I am from Seattle Wa. area. I posted a few clips of my love ponies too. I like your pony's winter coat! I see she likes to roll??

I'll rate yours, and you can rate mine. You'll have to click on my name to se my clips. Look at Pony Love or Mr. Studly

  • How do you dare uploading all this videos without telling me? :O

  • You are a brat, you know! Just like Knicky. :) I have had to go and find YOUR uploaded videos.... Hehe. Sorry. I will no more sin and will let you know. Love from both of us! Knicky still loves Nattis!

  • Haha so it's like revenge? :D Aw, Nattis loves Knicky too. She walked (yeah WALKED) through her fence yesterday (no problem getting her in though) so I thought she was going to Knicky.
