I am very sorry for laurenlovesgree's problems, which by the way sound like the result of her doing. There's not a moral problem with abortion, certainly no more than putting a animal to sleep. Ok.. Everyone is making a HUGE deal out of this and it really shouldn't be. They never once in the commercial say "abortion is bad and so are those who do it." Things are getting blown out of proportion.

Thanks for all of the encouraging words and I have been a Christian now 21 years and have asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins. My son is a Christian and witnesses to many hurting people on his job, or at college. He is an amazing young man and I am so proud of him. He loves and forgives me, I just have trouble forgiving myself sometimes. Please, if you are contemplating an abortion, talk with someone. Abortion isn't the solution to an unwanted pregnancy.

Jeffrey Dahmer's mother didn't have an abortion. Also, a lot of babies and children in the world starve to death. You may want to consider that among the countless other reasons that it should be a choice. Choose life IF you can provide that child a reasonably healthy childhood and you want that child (because it is not reasonable for a person to be raised in a world that doesn't want him/her).

If the biological parents don't want the child, then there are so many parents who do want that child. All children are gifts from God. Sometimes we are not always prepared for an unwanted pregnancy, but that doesn't mean that child doesn't have purpose just because the biological parents aren't ready to be parents.

I had 2 abortions between 1977-1978. When I finally decided to have a child in 1989, I lost my first child. She was born premature and died right after she was born. I then became pregnant 1990 and had a son born 2 1/2 months premature. The doctor told me that the abortionist butchered me and that it was a miracle that I was able to have children at all. My son now has cerebral palsy and has had 9 surgeries in his 19 years of life. I have to live with this the rest of my life. Choose life

All of us must forgive ourselves for something (abortion or otherwise). And we have to forgive others, too...so the healing can start. Yes, help others avoid something similar, but don't let the past dominate your present. I believe the creator wants you to be happy and whole...for yourself...for your son...and for the many people who care about you. Blessings to you and your family.
