When I was in college in 1972, we were told that by 2000 that 20% of the earth's population would be dead due to pollution and that all fossil oil would be used up. We would be starting the next ice age. The text book was "Limits of growth" the professor was Dave Mason.
He was a biology proff, but now he is semi retired and only teaches one course, "How to be gay" where he takes students to gay bars. I have not seen it, just read the course description on the college web site.

The decline they're hiding is the decline in the correspondence between tree ring data and ACTUAL TEMPERATURES, like from thermometers, which all show the same increase in global temperature.

1) There's a huge amount of grant money to scientists. How is that not a gain? Not that many people think it was just made up though, more that climate science is far too young to support the claims and the actions some want to take.

Also the MWP was warmer than now as has been most of the Holocene.

The warning trend has not increased even though as CO2 started increasing since 1945. This simple fact shows that CO2 is not a main driver of climate. AGW is bogus.

Do a search on YouTube for Arctic Ice Melting. Click on the one showing how much the ice has melted since 1979. Think about what will happen when the land based ice on Greenland and Antarctica begins to melt.

This is hilarious but Dr. James Hansen gives a great explanation as to why temperatures aren't up much. It is called global dimming. As China and India burn coal the ash goes into the atmosphere and reduces the level of sunlight hitting the earth just as happens when after a volcanic eruption.
Dr. Hansen even wrote something to the effect that if we went too green, too quickly, we could reduce the global dimming effect and warming could escalate fast!
One little problem: The Earth's temperature actually *did* rise in the last decade. The 90's were the hottest decade on record ... as the 80's were ... as the 70's were.
Simple visual: Look at the melting ice caps and the rising sea level. 3 million years of Antarctic ice - going, going, going.
Look, I *also* wish like hell it weren't happening. But at least I've got the guts to face reality.

you're forgetting that GISS (Hansen) only started somewhere in the 70's or 80's . in order to get a clear view you should look at 1000's of years. earth is still recovering from the 'little iceage' that ended around 1850.
Also, theres a lot of critisism about the GISS datasets and the way it was collected; that's still an ongoing discussion, so it would be wrong to draw conclusions from that.

When I was in college in 1972, we were told that by 2000 that 20% of the earth's population would be dead due to pollution and that all fossil oil would be used up. We would be starting the next ice age. The text book was "Limits of growth" the professor was Dave Mason.
He was a biology proff, but now he is semi retired and only teaches one course, "How to be gay" where he takes students to gay bars. I have not seen it, just read the course description on the college web site.

The chief environmental scientist under Bush frequently subressed data showing global warming. but then again if you compare La Nina cycles, this is the warmest La Nina in history. 1) There's a huge amount of grant money to scientists. How is that not a gain? Not that many people think it was just made up though, more that climate science is far too young to support the claims and the actions some want to take.
2) They have not risen steadily for over 100 years, they have fluctuated albeit with an overall trend up. Except the last 10 years of course.
Also the MWP was warmer than now as has been most of the Holocene.

We are not denying the fact that there is an increase in temperature for the last 200 years as we are still getting out of the "little ice age". The warning trend has not increased even though as CO2 started increasing since 1945. This simple fact shows that CO2 is not a main driver of climate. AGW is bogus.

The IPCC also has a large amount of imformation, visit their site. Visit the Met Office website, The NASA website, the NCAR website and the UEA website. All have independantly gathered information on climate change, all painting the same picture. As well as an explanation for exactly what climate change is.
Climate change does not equal weather.
You will actually however be required to read.

Do a search on YouTube for Arctic Ice Melting. Click on the one showing how much the ice has melted since 1979. Think about what will happen when the land based ice on Greenland and Antarctica begins to melt.
A search for the West Antarctic Ice Sheet is also worth reading.

This is hilarious but Dr. James Hansen gives a great explanation as to why temperatures aren't up much. It is called global dimming. As China and India burn coal the ash goes into the atmosphere and reduces the level of sunlight hitting the earth just as happens when after a volcanic eruption.
Dr. Hansen even wrote something to the effect that if we went too green, too quickly, we could reduce the global dimming effect and warming could escalate fast!

One little problem: The Earth's temperature actually *did* rise in the last decade. The 90's were the hottest decade on record ... as the 80's were ... as the 70's were.
Simple visual: Look at the melting ice caps and the rising sea level. 3 million years of Antarctic ice - going, going, going.
Look, I *also* wish like hell it weren't happening. But at least I've got the guts to face reality.

Actually, investing in turning the deserts green by a number of methods is a great response to climate change. If we combined aquaculture with solar powered desalination processes, we could produce food, create a carbon sink, feed hungry people, reduce the amount of heat going into the atmosphere and reduce the probability of Holland, New Orleans and Florida ending up under water all at the same time!

I agree that the carbon credits plan has massive problems. I did do a video related to the weaknesses of a carbon shift plan. If ocean level rise by one meter hundreds of millions of people are homeless. Over thirty percent of the population of this earth are already refugees. Rapid ocean level rise would be catastrophic.

you're forgetting that GISS (Hansen) only started somewhere in the 70's or 80's . in order to get a clear view you should look at 1000's of years. earth is still recovering from the 'little iceage' that ended around 1850.
Also, theres a lot of critisism about the GISS datasets and the way it was collected; that's still an ongoing discussion, so it would be wrong to draw conclusions from that.

Have you been living in a cave the last few weeks? I guess you kind of missed the whole Climategate news. The whole AGW was made of up of a lot of "facts". The hockey stick graph was shot to pieces because it was based on "facts". It has just been hilarious because AGW promoters like Al Gore keep saying that deniers don't believe in "hard science". Turns out his "hard science" is built on nothing but fairy tales.

Climategate is a just another Fox News propaganda ploy - there's nothing in any of those emails that brings in to doubt the actual science of global warming - there's only some questioning of PRIVATE emails between people which show some unprofessional-ism.
