  • Hey! At least we are not like the other robot Americans who take their freedoms lightly. Its a freedom of speech issue and obviously we give more respect to the Anthem then anyone else. Meaning we are one of the few city's that have and hold pride for tradition.

  • hey dude where the hell do you think that song was written? it's our god given right to do that as baltimore fans.

  • i mean it was kind of written in our harbor in our city where we stopped the british from taking over the country....but of course your right and we defile it by showing our city pride and our patriotism. Jackass...... why does boston sing sweet caroline during 7th inning stretch instead of god bless america or take me out to the ball game.

  • @nikhil430 they sing take me out to the ball game during the 7th inning stretch at Fenway, they sing sweet Caroline during the 8th inning. just thought i would point that out.

  • Hey buddy, its OUR anthem as it was written in OUR harbor. So STFU and get a life.

  • You have to be a Baltimorean to get it, dude.

I'll tell you what I told the jackass in front of me at the O's vs. Red Sox game; "It's a Baltimore thing, if you don't want to hear it, go back home."

  • Man.....

Its history, where the history began....

That's the most respect one can give...Honoring the Past and the PAST. As America.

  • Obviously, as an out of towner, you could not possibly understand Baltimore's love of baseball, patriotism, and "dem O's" otherwise known as the Baltimore Orioles. They are the reason we emphasize "O" at all of our home sports, including Ravens football, during the Star Spangled Banner, although at Ravens games, it might be more appropro to sing "Poe" -- another connection you probably wouldn't understand. Couldn't watch this video because of the shaky footage, but thanks for the audio.

  • johannesusa, shut up. The letter O does not defile our National Anthem, you do by making a big deal out of nothing. The entire anthem is about bravery and resilience in the face of adversity.

  • I don't think fellow Baltimoreans would defile the national anthem. After all it was written IN Baltimore!

  • How does emphasizing one letter defile the national anthem? As a Marylander, I take offense to that statement.

  • OOOOOOO!!

  • Thanks for recording and sharing this piece of current history.
