Just got my transformer. Trying the root process. I have the blank screen, but don't show the driver in Universal Bus. Went to cmd prompt and ran adb.exe devices and it shows the device HT16KHL07871. Can I now proceed with the remaining steps to get root and superuser installed.

@mjolnir3195 are you running a custom rom or if you look on the back oof your box next to serial number ddoes it start with B80 or higher? If either of those are true, that's your problem

I found this newer vid after trying to root my eeepad using zedomax's older vid. Bricked my tablet... didn't like that vid :-( ... this vid helped me to fix the problem though so "liked" it - thanks zedomax!
