Wow, I remember watching this video when it was posted, that was almost two years ago now. Little did I know that this song would go on to become one of my all time favourites. Long live Isis!

I really wish Aaron Turner would stop singing. Although his lyrics are quite fruitful and amazing, he ruins the song by belching out. It doesn't sound good at all and they would be 100x better without it.
Shrinebuilder featers Scott Kelly from Neurosis, Wino from the Obsessed and St. Vitus, Al Cisneros form Sleep and Om, and Dale Crover from Melvins on drums. Going to be Epic!
I know I've already posted about this, but I cannot get enough of this song. The guitar at 4;49 sends chills down my spine. I LOVE that spacey/water like sound these guys make. You won't believe how often I visit Turner's blog to look for any updates on a release of this song, haha. I still remember when Dulcinea was released last year... ah, what a day!
Sounds fucking killer. A recent update on Aarons blog states that a new track debuted during the Europe tour is titled ''20 minutes/40 year'' - this may be it, it may not be. Either way, kickass.
Too bad you can't really make out the vocals in this video. I remember there was this cool part where he suddenly went from clean vocals to grunts while singing, but you can't realy hear it in this video.
But still thanks! I saw them in Belgium las Wednesday and they played the exact same set as in London.
definitely 20 minutes/40 years

ISIS shows are so much fun, and they are usually really cheap, like 10 bucks. Thats such a deal.

The only thing I hate about Isis' songs is that they end at some point.
osyris04 2 years ago 28
That's one of the best things about this type of band. The abrupt stop. It's powerful

I might be waaaay behind the times here, but it looks like Michael Gallagher's playing a Travis Bean now...

The sheer energy in this song is unbelievable.
Haunting slow bass and tempo and explodes into apocalyptic doom!
I am so glad they've somewhat come back to their roots and still stayed true to they're sound.

why would anyone care how little, or how many, notes it consisted of?
