For those that have not been able to get the .neo file or the .bat file to work, I have found the "WHY" -- IT'S BECAUSE OF THE "BIOS". Let me guess, when you enter the bios link given by Meanpooh, the only Bios that you downloaded is that link called "I agree to all the above, Download v2.3", rite? Yeah, it doesn't work (at least not for me). I have found the FULL WORKING BIOS available in the NeoDS Google Group. Search for the post of May 13, 2008 at 7:49am, by a poster named jimmay.

I figured it out, the neogeo.zip was the wrong one. Also I didn't realize it had to be included in the folder with every conversion.

Ok, I checked out your setup. the only thing that was missing was the .bat file which only contains "Neodsconvert.exe -bios1". As far as I know the NeoDs emu only plays NeoGeo games, not others such as roms for M.A.M.E. or the Capcom arcade roms. There may be confusion because even though you may have found a rom with .bin files inside it really wasnt made by SNK to begin with.

On the other hand most SNK NeoGeo games can be played on M.A.M.E, hence the name. I hope this helps and ill also email you the bat file.

One other thing. If you hit the "pause/break" button when you see the convert screen come up you will notice that it is searching for the rom. When it doesnt find it it just aborts.

The microSD card may be used in miniSD devices through use of an adapter, but miniSD cards cannot be used in microSD devices since they are larger than a microSD slot.

Long story short...Just use a MicroSD card.

try removing any roms that you have added then restart. If the menu does not show then its something wrong with the installation of the NeoDs program.

it can sometimes depend on your storage card, all cards are not equal and some move data faster than others.

I would first try a different rom. If that didnt work I would check and see what the transfer rate is on your mem card. I have heard of some slot 1 cards working slower than others. I personally use the Cyclods and it works fine.

Okay what am I supposed to do when I get a "Z80 Error" Isnt that something to do with the emulation? or is it the rom. Also how do I know what Bios version my ROM is?(when I'm using the Neo Rom Patcher)

I believe that is a cpu emulation problem. As for version of the bios; try extracting the files and click on properties, that might help. Im pretty sure its some years old.
