On your first cell, the MB you have it placed is not the "strong" position. Having the MB close to your PAP or even past the VAL is considered the 5th position, or the max early revs position.
Halfway between the track and the VAL is considered the strong position dude.
i have the same lay out of the ball on the right on my cell pearl. It doesnt have much flare, but it has excellent backend, and is excellent gliding through the pins
My Cell has a layout almost the same as ball #1 but with factory surface. Its a little stronger off the spot than you describe that one. Hopefully i'll have a short vid of it up soon

yea if you put a lot on the ball. It's a really strong pearl ball.Especially if you add some surface to it.
