  • i want to start mountain climbing, (got a free year) what would you say is a good starting mountain for begginers? nice vid btw :)

  • @PJJCMH the best time to climb/hike is in the late summer/early fall because that's when there's the least amount of snow on top. I'd recommend first starting with mountains that don't require any climbing (with ropes) and minimal scrambling (on your hands and feet). Ben Nevis in Scotland, Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, mountains in the Adirondacks or Colorado. pretty much any that you can just hike to the top via the easiest trail/route. it will still require being in good aerobic shape tho!

  • @dagda16 thankyou sir, i'll climb ben nevis with my mates and ill send you the video of our success :D

  • @PJJCMH Nothing better than Switzerland for a start ;) Well, above all, you need a good physical condition! Best wishes! And do it!!! It's such a great feeling up there over the clouds!

  • @PJJCMH if your in the uk, you should start on the fells in the lake district (cumbria) cat bells, great gable e.c.t

  • just not over the edge

If your not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room!
