another thing that sucks is that the deadalus's life support gets knocked out the orion gets destroyed the deadalus has sucky armorment[no offense] and that the hive ship that they capture later on gets destroyed

The Deadalus has good offensive and defensive weapons but she expended all her nucs in the first salvo and it was useless to use standerd missles as the hive ships are so thickly skinned.

Her Railguns as you see are very good when firing into a mass of fighters or targeting open areas on the ship

Well yeah, Hives are like super carriers and Deadalus is just a battlecrusier and when they built it i think they did know of the wraith yet and made it anti goa'ul. because they uses much fighters and cargoships and that midle class ship dont know the name, anyway railgunz owns against smaller ships, and later they get the asgard beamweapons which will easy destroy a hive.

earth ships only carry nukes othe3rwise they would have beamed over a bunch of normal warheads when they found out the jamming field had been disabled

and the nukes the daedalus fired in siege part 3 didnt generate a small bang when they got intercepted by the darts

Wow, Stargate makes such good space battles, which is impressive considering it's only a part of the whole story.

One of the best TV shows currently, second only to the new Battlestar Galactica.

Battlestar galactica is too cold in my opinion... You can't really follow the characters if you missed an episode, much like Star Trek. It's not like stargate which makes adventures-like episodes, I started listening in season 6 and I understanded almost everything, I never was, Huh wtf is that ? Or who the f**k is this ?

I don´t like Battlestar Galactica either. I think "too cold" really describes it. And where are the jokes? I want action and fun. I always thought I could follow the characters too well but when I eventually saw the beginning of an episode this week I thought: did the guy go to that planet or does he exist twice which would mean he´s not human? Maybe the story is too complex for me after all...yawn ;-)
