You have to watch this from the perspective of almost 20 years ago, before the internet, before YouTube, before email and wide use of mobile phones, before high-tech computer games with amazing graphics.
At the time, this seemed real and people were taken in, including my 13 year old self lol Funny watching it now though!

Fun Fact - Ghost Watch was suppose to be loosely based around the Poltergeist Case in England in the 1970's. The case was called "The Enfield Poltergeist" ....Theres a pretty cool documentary here on youtube about it....just look up Enfield Poltergeist

i was 14 when i saw this and i thought it was scary and real then knew it was fake when the ghostly goings on transpired into the actual studio.. the acting is terrible!! but it was good for what it was back then,its the doctor and mother that ruin it and the phone ins.. i remember kids in school still thought it was real even after seeing end credits showing the actors name for "pipes"
I tend to agree- one of the weaker actresses- although perhaps deliberate at this stage, kind of deliberatly trying to tell people- THIS IS'NT REAL, before people got too scared.
i wonder if this in some way inspired the blair witch project and paranormal activity?

Actually, everybody in the world should know it's a fake. Mainly because it was listed in the Radio Times (BBC TV Guide) as Drama.
