What song is in the end of the movie? BTW this is a great movie, not many movies like these are being shot today... Does anyone know how this type of movies are called (1995-2002 american style)?
@OdinBlueEnergy You mean the end credits? That's Deep Forest & Peter Gabriel - While The Earth Sleeps. If you mean the track that plays just before credits, it's Graeme Revell & Lori Carson - Fall In The Light.
im pissed off b/c i have this movie somewhere around my house but can't find it lol.great film though, has to be kathryn bigalow's best work.it's a shame how underrated this movie is.
I wonder if that the Scene at the beginning of the first Matrix film, where Neo (Nero) hands a disc to some guys at his door, which is never explained in the film, is a homage to this film... Just an idea
So the main concern of the movie is about a "tape" in which 2 cops killed some black rapper who loves white bitches, and one of the characters in the movie states "do you know what this would do if this tape got out"? So if 2 cops shoot and kill 50cent, all of you wiggers will bring down the government?
@MGSFan22 I really can't be sure, but the name Clarence Worley is from the Quentin Tarantino Movie "True Romance" which I assumed the poster got the name from, there's a scene in it where gary oldman, who is playing a wigger pimp named Drexl. And right after Christian Slater's Character, clarence, pulls a gun on drexl. Drexl lays a beat down on him steals his wallet and expresses that "Clarence Worley, sounds like a nigga name... " and that Clarence must of thought it was "White Boy" day...
i remember when i seen this trailer when it first came out in 95, i never got to see it until 97 when i was hella stone and i still watch it to this day.
@GuitarGare Not exactly. Its not about the discovering of the technology, nor is it about haven or hell. You might say its builds on "brainstorm" - meaning that "the hat" is already widely in use in this film. Calling it a "rip" seems a bit harsh to me.
I am a huge fan of scifi, both literature and movies. This is a masterpiece in its own category. Strange Days was a movie, that after watching it, I just looked at my best friends and we kept being like..."wow!!" Watch it! :-D

This is one of Kathryn Bigelow's best films. May not have been a box office smash but it has become a cult classic. Love the point of view shots when the characters on on their wire trips.
@petpillow good for you! the sooner you come out, the better. But please do not refer to yourself as an "it". You're better than that, no matter if you're gay. Plus, the concept of the year 2000 still held mystical power.
this was a great film the scene when they guys are machine gunning the limo the sound effects are sampled from T2! if anyone has the dvd check it out ! really like the slick car chase and intro is superb, the ending is especially good. good use of music, only downside would be the juilette lewis character, but I like the way it shows you lenny much like in real life cant get what you want but what you want might not be the right choice anyway

As for the comments about the intent to make money - of course they're made to make money. The film industry is a business. But that doesn't preclude them from having other aspirations or creative intentions. News flash - ALL films are made to make money, non-US and non-blockbuster movies included. If not, they'd release them for free, wouldn't they? It's really quite apparent that you don't know what the hell you're talking about, so let's just wrap this up, shall we?
It's better to make money on a movie that is worth something rather than on a movie that is worth nothing, like modern blockbusters which are good only if you go to a 3-D cinema to watch it!!
Funny, 'cause I watched it on you tube in fuzzy pixel vision and it was still the bollocks! Ra ra for you. Leave a direct comment - be prepared for an argument, that's all I'll say.

Great film. A one of a kind stand alone film that did not get enough recognition. Everyone in the film was fantastic.

Yeah, this trailer makes it seem like there's way too much stuff packed in one movie.
Mind-inhabitation, serial killer mind, conspiracy about the end of the world, riot police and squad helicopters, and then end of the world.

Films of 'worth' - what a nebulous and vague comment.

This film is great. I'm surprised at how underrated it is but the production, acting, story is fascinating. soundtrack great too. Skunk Anansie!
