What many people have a misconception about, is Egypt. The ancient Egypt was not ocupied by white or even Arabic peoples. They were black. The Pharohs were black. I find it funny and sad that on occasion I run into honest Muslims, Muslims that don't deflect or make excuses but are completely upfront about their religion. I had one young Muslim explain ot me that the rape of captives always happens in war, so it was normal and ok for the early Muslims to do this. He also believed that slavery was a normal function of war, conquest of other peoples and the forced conversion to Islam was acceptable and normal. He is following what he reads and being honest.

Muslim negationism has been well written about, especially in regards to the genocide of Hindus by Muslims. What many people have a misconception about, is Egypt. The ancient Egypt was not ocupied by white or even Arabic peoples. They were black. The Pharohs were black. How is it that they are not illustrated in books, in history books as black? British colonialism. They couldn't bring themselves to admit that those blacks could have been a great civilization.

I would think that these civilizations were a mix of black and arabic people. However if you look the statues of Egypt during the time of the great pharaos, most of these faces look like they were black, they have black features, so you may have a point.

But after the plauges and wars, including the Jewish conquest, Israel was helped by a black army from Egypt when it was invaded by Assyrians. History was deliberatly distorted, mainly by White English and German historians, because they could not deal with the fact that the Blacks had a civilization greater than their own.

You do know it was the French who had a longer hold on Egypt. I think if DNA of the Pharaohs which have been tested would prove something about the origin or the race of people who lived there. But it would be very interesting to know is Black people did live in Egypt.

But these are lately come lastly occupations. Before 4000 years, the Black civilization was very developed, and included Cush, Egypt, and parts of the Saudi Penensula (Yemen) and Ethiopia. But during the years, other groups have displaced the black Egyptians, mostly to Ethiopia.

I find it funny and sad that on occasion I run into honest Muslims, Muslims that don't deflect or make excuses but are completely upfront about their religion. I had one young Muslim explain ot me that the rape of captives always happens in war, so it was normal and ok for the early Muslims to do this. He also believed that slavery was a normal function of war, conquest of other peoples and the forced conversion to Islam was acceptable and normal. He is following what he reads and being honest.
