I have severe under eye circles. Im very pale, which makes it more noticeable. I use several different concealers, and a powder. Is there a cheaper eye mask that will help? $62 is a lot...or possibly a good concealer. I use MAC, skinfood salmon concealer, and hard candy glamoflauge.

One tip though, just be sure to not use retinol and AHA's at the same time. If you use them the same day, do one in the a.m, the other in the p.m. because they are contraindicated. It wont do anything terrible, just they won't work when used with each other. I forgot where I heard this last, but I've heard a lot of people say this. Those look like awesome masks!

@KiKiTheTechie Maybe this was an independent source you heard this from. But using an AHA or BHA and applying retinol afterwards will not contradict each other. Retinol is not an exfoliant but a good antioxidant. You can even use an AHA/BHA and apply tretinoin and it is totally fine. All the clinical research says so. Clinical studies have shown that you cannot use benzoyl peroxide & AHA/BHA's because one of them contradicts each other. It's important to read info from unbiased studies.

I have been taking care of my skin recently, mild peels, acids, creams,ect to hold off age or undo damage. If there was one piece of advise I could give someone in their 20's it would be to use sunscreen EVERY day. I wish I had when I was swimming competitively, then teaching swimming then staying tan. You know...living in California. lol I am paying the price now, literally, it's expensive!

Not the smartest think put anti-age things on your face if you're under 30-35... Dont be suprised when on your 40 age you will look like 60... Try 1st wrinkle treatment... :)

In 23- 25 age is preferable to use the anti- wrinkle cream, not the anti age. And do not use some lifting treatments... Dont be so cruel to your skin. But of course it also depends of your skin condition

Hi Michael, you've said some retinol prdcts R useless. I know this could B the case 4many diff reasons (packaging only being 1 reason) I went in search of a retinol product last week @Ulta b/c I'd used the Philosophy Retinol cream & was pleased w/the results. I used it 3 xs in 1 week along w/companion philosophy products. Some of my fine lines were GREATLY diminished! So much so that my makeup did not settle in them. In a prev vid you rec'd a generic but I cannot find one. Please advise! xox Kat

@john316god Yes, there are so many great exfoliating options. I like any AHA (alpha hydroxy acid peel) product. Boots No.7 makes a good one that you brush on with a fan brush, leave on for a few minutes, and then wash off. Also, the most recent DIY mask I did might be perfect for you! :D As for brightening, any exfoliating product will work, but NARS has a lightening cream that is great! :D Thanks so much for watching!

I basically use cle de peau's cleanser, guerlain super squa toner, la mer lifting serum or estee lauder night repair serum, guerlain super aqua eye serum, and creme de la mer, and the La Mer spf 30. :)

I am sorry but this product has 32 ingredients and retinol is the 24th ingredient,which means it has a tiny amount of retinol!!! and the 7th ingredient in the ingredients list is alcohol which is irritatitng for your skin in the long run..you better dont buy that again..check the ingredients list yourself

@TheSublimeAgent Shiseido is the oldest cosmetics company in the world next to L'Oréal (they are the biggest company) I'd imagine. I believe Estée Lauder is #3. Also, NARS is indeed under Shiseido, as they make their cosmetics and skin products. I have been using NARS skincare (and makeup) for a while now and it's wonderful. And yes, Clé de Peau is Shiseido's high end line. I need to try this product! Great review as usual. I love people who are thorough!

So I went to a counter and got a sample, but I can't get it to change color like people claim it does. It does get a bit liquidy after rubbing, but doen't that happen to all thick creams? How do I get it to "turn transparent"? Thanks!

Is it the creme regular (not the gel or the lotion)? If so, it just gets a little oily and a little bit clear. I am sure you are doing it right. It will turn from a white paste to a slick (but still thickish) clear film. Then just pat onto the skin and let it sink in. Remember to tone before applying so it sinks in better :D
