Isn't this scene evidence enough Bateman has imagined a lot of things?

Personally I think he DID kill some people, but imagined he killed way more to satisfy his bloodlust.

In the end he also discovers that even if he did kill some people the world he lives in is so shallow nobody even bothers or cares that "Paul Allen is missing".
