I did the BC 3 days ago, but was disappointed about my ends. they came out very rough looking and very tangled. What did I do wrg and what can I do to fix it?
This is very helpful. I'm in need of a trim which I'm gonna do tomorrow. I don't know why people think natural hair don't need trims. To add to your reasons for trimming, the ends are the oldest and dryest making them susceptible to split ends and they're also exposed to the elements . . . especially right now in the winter. Plus, I don't know about you but I get knots. But great video . . . I really needed this. ;)
Not quite true about the weak hair thing. Wether striaght or curly it can be equally strong or weak. I wouldn't give people the impression tht curly hair is more "fragile" than straighter hair. thanks! Good vid! : )
angelslight7- well im not giving an impression about anything im letting them know the fact about our hair. letting them know this is not me downing our hair. im letting them know why they need to take care of it all the more so. you don't have to listen or believe what i say you can research it your self.
Thank you very much for this vid. I was looking at the moon phases coming up in September and thinking that I need to have my ends trimmed but stressing about what salon I should go to. But your method seems easy. I think I will try it myself. Thank you! :D
takeitorleaveit304- just looked at it. i don't believe in doing it that way b/c the hair that sticks out after twisting are not always split ends. you will always have hair to stick out when twisting that way. this video i show is a way you can do it at home. but i do trim my ends the "professinal way" a making sure i don't just get the bottom hair but all over. but if you want to do that by all means you can. :)
silver7eyez- you can but i would leave it alone. that may mean you have some breakage so just continue to clip your ends and condition well and eventually it should all grow more even. if not then it just may be the way your hair grows so i would just leave it be. :)
Thanks a lot for replying. My hair was cut in layers a long time ago, and I haven't had it cut since, so it tends to be uneven. I will be sure to take your advice ^_^.
Thank you soo much for this video!!! I have been having trouble figuring out the best way to trim my ends, but I think that your method will work for me.
I clip my hair by making small sections all over my head and keeping them separate with elastic bands at the root. Then I pull out each section straight and clip a little off the ends. I think it has the same effect but its hard to get the elastics off sometimes. Its best to use ouchless ones that you can slide off or cut off if necessary. Its working pretty well for me :)
Love your eye make. You are so right about trimming your ends. I did not trim my end of a few years and had to go because of split ends. I had a hair cut in the end.
I can not tell you the last time I trimmed my ends... that has been a problem of mine for a while. Last time I tried, I chopped off half of my head and it was so uneven. I've been looking for an easier way to do it, without paying someone. And I know a trim probably really isn't that expensive at all, but still.
i have a video on how i color my hair. i use matrix color. its a professinal color line so you may not be able to get it unless they started to sell in the chinese hair stores. so sorry it doesn't come in a box kit. lol :) and thank you for the complement
Great Video! I agree trimming the ends is so important. When I realized I needed a trim my ends kept sticking together and tangling like crazy. I would detangle with my Denman brush and my ends still were ruff and tangling. Trimming makes the hair look better and easy to comb threw. Thanks for posting :)

when you trim your hair at the beginning of wearing your hair twisted does it ever unravel? does that make sense?

My twists don't come out so smooth. What does one do about the extra strands that stick out of the twist, should they be cut too?
