@slickrickdarula If you are Muslim then you obviously are ignorant of aqidah you can find the references in any book of aqidah or any book on Islamic end times like the one written by Ibn Kathir, maybe you should research this and not just depend on a video and deny deny deny and react with emotions.

@slickrickdarula This is critique of a ideology not the people who hold to it so it can not be xenophobic, first of John Macarthur is not a light weight this man is a serious scholar of the Bible and he is not the first person to make this comparison, you can go all the way back in history to the Bishop of Jerusalem during the time of Umar al Khattab who recognized Islam was related to the anti Christ, and after him dozens of the most renowned Christian scholars till today.

@ceeker248 all well and dandy. Problem is, all his claims about Muslim Mahdi/Jesus/end times, are all referenced to the Bible... and vaguely at that, chapters no verses. Now if he (or your video) would for example back up the claims of the Mahdi and Jesus in Islam with quotes and references from the Quran and Sunnah it would be one thing, my issue is only the Bible is quoted regarding these things. Putting quotes from the Quran vs quotes from the bible would be ok, this seems dishonest imho.

@slickrickdarula well what you are asking for has been done already there are videos and books on the subject that are more detail with reference, for Macarthur's defense this is just a clip of a larger audio, and it is clearly a talk a overview of content in books most people in that audience where already familiar with. I would post some links and recommend some book in the description.

@slickrickdarula see Rev 12:13-17, Zechariah 14:2, Ezekiel 38:9-12, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 (he would have to do something about the Jews to accomplish this), Matthew 24:16-22, Daniel 9:27. I know some have said he would be a Jew, but all the evidence put together I would agree with the majority he's not.
