i have my md80 clone here and i have an 8gb micro sd in it. but when i start recording the camera doesnt actually store the video on the card. so when i put the card in a card reader there is only the tag.txt file in it.
@FutureLAD66 after you start the recording, you have to stop it, wait for the yellow light to fully shut off to save it to disk. Also be sure your card doesn't have a write protect tab on it. Furthermore, incase you got a bad fraud card from ebay or somewhere else, try a completely different card too. Lastly, upload a video showing the problem so we can see it.
@freethrillsdotcom when i stop the recording the red light flashes a bit and thats it, i may upload a video soon as i need it for a biking trip, thanks for the reply though! i'll link you the video once its up :)
@MrDaviator I wouldn't recommend buying memory from eBay, there is a lot of fraudulent memory there. Go into any Best Buy or similar and buy a mini SDHC card, it will accept up to 8 gigs.
