hmm not really. during the battle of france britain had 600,000 army personel with equipment which not only included heavier and thicker tanks but more motorized units. around 350,000 were killed or captured. 200,000 left back for britain in dunkirk after encirclement. 50,000 were back as reserve. if germany could defeat 350,000 with minimal loses I doubt 250,000 could have been a problem, the channel did save britain

hmm not really. during the battle of france britain had 600,000 army personel with equipment which not only included heavier and thicker tanks but more motorized units. around 350,000 were killed or captured. 200,000 left back for britain in dunkirk after encirclement. 50,000 were back as reserve. if germany could defeat 350,000 with minimal loses I doubt 250,000 could have been a problem, the channel did save britain

2. declared wars before finishing the previous ones
3. never listened to any advice his generals would give
4. when they were about to take over leningrad and choke russias supply lines he thought it smart to move 70% over 300 miles away costed him the campaign
5. targetting minorities which could have helped

german wehrmacht depended on horse drawn wagons over 4/5 ths of wehrmacht was without motorized transport and used horse drawn wagons just like their grandfathers used in ww1. The spearhead units went 'varoomm' and the rest of the wehrmacht went 'clippty clop'.

the war on france was won with a 5 month warning, where germany actually fought norway. and while fighting france and britain fought holland and belgium too
with such results under such odds i think its fair to say it was the worlds best army

@MHJforPrussia germanys opponents from France ,Poland,Belgium and USSR did not have fully motorized armed forces. The US and UK had fully motorized armed forces including strategic airforces. A 'Total War' economy can build a strategic airforce with long range bombers / escort fighters and a modern navy,capable of amphibious operation etc. And the ablity to fight a 2 ocean war similtanously.

France had more tanks than germany, their problem was their strategy, polands tank density was fairly similar to germany's, oh and the ussr had way more tanks, and they even had paratrooper units.
they were very motorized, guderian actually took many ideas from france for achtung panzer
notice how germany fought with better results with lower costs. comapre that to the usa which joined in a war which was approaching the end. or the uk, who continued to fight with loans

@MHJforPrussia germany depended on over 2.4 million horses to pull wagons during ww2. Only a 1/5 of the wehrmacht was motorized the rest of the organic transport for the remaining 4/5 ths ( 80%) depended on horse drawn wagons. No the german wehrmacht was not very motorized in fact they used more horses than their grandfathers did in ww1.

germany had already lost once stalingrad was lost. having fought france, britain, norway, poland, north afrika, balkans, germany was already too exhausted. hitlers command was terrible, yet the army was so strong victory was almost assured
all the usa did was arrive to an already won war. same with japan, china was already gaining the upper hand. the usa didnt outstand militarily, they did economically with their loans.

@MHJforPrussia your mistaken as to the war in europe after stalingrad. The effect of US and UK landings D-Day was that germany would now have to fight on a 2nd front.
Argue till your blue in the face, wether Stalin wanted it or not - germany after D-Day was now fighting a 2 front war. China was not a threat to Japan and never beat or had any gain on Japan other than retreating and overextending Japans forces. The US and Japan were the major opponents in the Pacific war not China.

any how compare the populations germany put on each front. even when the landings came, more men were being sent to fight the rusians than the americans
also if you compare kill death ratios germany always fought bigger armies. its surprising the war didnt end sooner

@MHJforPrussia that does not invalidate the allies opening a 2nd front in Europe D-Day which happened in 1944'. The US also fought in North Africa, and Italy which are different theaters. The US and UK fought a war much different than germany which included the Pacific,SE Asia,China which was a much larger than the entire eastern front . The US and UK in NW Europe was responsible for defeating the luftwaffe and reducing germanys industrial base not Russia which only had a tactical airforce.

thats not even a second front thats a 4th front, the war was already being lost since 1942. its not even the usa or britain that defeated germany's airforce. when the russian campaign began 85% of the airforce was moved from britain to Russia(R. Overy), by 1942 germanys oil was so low they had to fight with only 1 out of every 20 planes. texaco their original supplier, cut off the sales once germany was deep in russia, when usa military operations were ready. sneaky huh?

Albert Speer Reich minister of armaments and War Production from 1943-44. "The 1943' -germanys production of aircraft alone increased from over 14,000 to 25,000 aircraft." Ammunition production doubled " fuel and oil especially production of synthetic fuels increased.

the jasta tactics had to be abandoned for a reason, and now they had to fight as lone hunters. ammunition was short too, to such an extent that many german pilots even went kamikase against bombers
there was not enough fuel for them to fly 19 out of 20 couldnt
you might argue that they did have oil, Anthony Beevor, richard overy and cristopher clark argue the opposite. im preety sure historians of such a calibre are better sources

The german increase in activity reflected 1943-1944' period which included US and UK strategic bombing campaigns on german industrial base, ejection of axis powers out of Africa, Sicily, Southern Italy - end of Battle of the Atlantic - end of U boat threat, D-Day Invasion of Europe, Allied breakout of Normandy,and push to German frontier.

The "Wehrmacht" had an estimated 17-20 million soldiers according (Wiki) and other sources with 1.8 million during war killed.
No other military at the time had such a force and now Germany is at "Treaty of Versailles" level and humiliation as the world once again rapes our Germany of everything.

Well, Stalin being evil himself, at least liberated the world from the the ultimate, which was (surprise, surprise)-Hitler!You can't equal crimes of the two. Stalin's troops just killed real or imagined enemy, but nazi-Germans had mysterious fondness for mass cruealty and torture before killing.Of course during WW2 cruelty happened on Russian side too, but the numbers on both sides just don't match!Nazis were much more sophisticated n organised in methodology of massive savage killing.

Yes he did some incrediable things for Germany in the early years. However if he had not been so paranoid and allowed his generals to do their job, things "might" have been different. Don't forget that it was the US that come to the starving citizens of Berlin (the Berlin Airleft), after the Soviets "tried" to block the city off.

The United States' contribution to World War II was mostly its industrial production and arms shipments through lend-lease, which depleted No-longer-Great Britain's wealth and power. When World War II was over, the European Recovery Program was devised. US goods could be bought against credit in order to maintain wartime production levels. That's how the US economy went from pre-war depression to post-war global dominance without ever putting up a respectable fight.

Our First Atomic Bomb was slated to be used on the Nazi's, but unfortunately they surrendered unconditionally and cowardly before we could introduce it to them. Germany would have beaten the shit out of England and America just as the already did with Russia - the Allied just were not brave enough to fight alone against Germany. The United States did not participate in any of the largest battles of World War II (and all of history), the British ran like cowards until it was safe to return. I can respect the Soviet scum, which you neglected to mention, because they put up a hell of a fight with their qualitatively inferior but numerically superior forces.
