I don't understand what this song and lyrics have to do with the right to abortions, unless you substitute filling up and spilling Blood instead of water ! I used to love this song until I saw Chris using it at this rally !
@TheAgapeLove1 - I don't understand how one woman's choice is anyone else's business. No woman makes that decision lightly. To go with the garden metaphor, not every seedling is viable. That's Nature. Instead of focusing on someone else's life and the choices they make, why not concentrate on your own?
thanks for uploading this video. I grew up listening to her records, but after moving overseas i lost them, and it has moved me to hear her voice again.
Oh Cris is just beautiful! This may be six years old but her voice obviously hasn't aged a bit. She's wonderful with a beautiful song. Thank you for sharing and posting it.
I first heard Chris on a recording of this song back in the late 80's - it touched me then, it touches me still. Just wonderful to see her actually performing it! THANKS!
Greart video! Many thanks for posting. It's kind of a wake up call for me too. I've been away from things too long and life has snuck away. Time to get back into it and enjoy what it has to offer.
Hey, by any chance would you have Cris performing, "Shining Star?" That's another great one, especially her Carnegie Hall Live version. Just a thought.
Wow!! I've seen her a couple of times in concert, and listened to her music since the late 70's. Her music still lives on within us! Thanks so much for sharing! :)
I heard her music for the first time in college in the late 80s. A wonderfully rich, raw, expressive voice. I would love to see her live someday. I love this song too!
lets kill those butterflys too then there would be some real outrage!

Cris was a big part of my teenage years...I lost her albums long ago, too many immigrations across the water...so it's great to see her here!

Thanks everyone, it is certainly one to share. I am going to find other performances from that day and share them in the near future.
