I was active duty, but let me tell you something, these guys, would go out there and kick some ass in those missions out in Haifa street. All props to them. Until the second war, America's independence was still under threat, with the british supporting your enemies, and attempting to hamstring your expansion.
Battle is also a word for a struggle, and is applicable in both cases.

As a prior service member and with 1 wounded in Iraq and another still serving. I'm proud of all our guys. Freedom these Americans spout they think is free. They just don't realize a soldier paid either in time of life for them to run at the mouth. But 1 day soon all will find out it's either fight for the freedom or give it up. I was active duty, but let me tell you something, these guys, would go out there and kick some ass in those missions out in Haifa street. All props to them. Not saying that 1/9 wasnt tough but these soldiers had something special about them that to this day, I would gladly pick up my rifle and go into battle with them again. Hoooah!

i served alongside american soldiers when i was stationed in Afghanistan, and reading some of these people bashing the US military is an insult to everyone who have ever risked their life in the name of freedom.

You allow us to buy from you anti-mine-vehicles and some military-airplanes or choppers. Only in our country we talk about yours, you forgot about us to the end. @13Fthirteenfox first of all I wasnt in the Navy! No offense to my Navy brothers and sisters but I am biased in a sense because I am a retired Army soldier. I did carry a rifle. I did go rescue soldiers(not a medic) and special forces too! When they ran into trouble, I was in Recovery. For exemption of the infantry/scouts,SF, Navy Seals. So dont preach at me to someone that has carried a rifle.. By the way that was awesome, just kidding.....gotcha
