It is a terrible pity that he would have had a really short time limit so he had to take out bars all over the place which also damaged the affect. But after that the arrangement and playing was outstanding - and so glad that Mike was motivated to return to this work - up there with the two musical peaks Hergest Ridge and Incantations.
Cool performance! But i dont like that tthe (2:49 ) acustic guitar is to quiet and i can hear little delay which sounds bad. (It would sound better on nylon guitar)
Arguably, one of "the maestro's" best albums along with Tubular Bells & Tubular Bells 2. The German 'Night of The Proms' always provide excellent performances of Mike's music as well. Thank you ProjectZ2 for the post:)
