Actually JH guitaR IS A neW one.. He tells a fan in Germany he can't play the old one much and can't take it out on tour. This a just "another cheap white flying V with EMGs (remember no White guitar stays white for more than a few yrs)

it's not new, it is an old, well kept 70's flying v. And he can use the old one. in a video of them recording the judas kiss, he is clearly using the Kill Em' All v, because it has chunks missing in the same spots as the KEA one did in a photo for a guitar magazine in the 90's. He only said it wouldnt stay tuned, so he couldnt tour with it.

Kind of a disapointment, however, I've also heard Mission Metallica, a preview to their new upcomming album, and I have to say.. it sounds amazing.

James used a flying V on the "Poor touring Me" trek in '96-97- it was black, brillianty decorated with blazing flames. I saw them that tour,and it was the best gig I've ever been to.

Bob Rock recently said he'd heard some tracks from the forthcoming album,and he decribed them as being in the 8 minute range with lots of guitar solos, and an "old school" feel.

The release date, whenever it actually is, cannot come soon enough!!!
