Tommy Cooper was a brilliant clown/comedian/magician- his ability to turn terrible puns into belly laughs and magic into slapstick is legendary.

i now how to do the Ace of spades queen of dimonds 5 of harts trick.

you have 3 cards, you hide the Stung one under the pack, you pull the queen out with the ace of spades of the hearts, and hold the stung card with 2 fingers, the mat should be long enough so you can fold it to hold both eges, and drop the other one. the stung card behind it. then you show the audience the sting cards and turn it over to show them its Not the queen. i know i can't explain things very well.

I'm brazilian and I can only thank the internet for knowing Tommy C. There are good comedians here and all around the world, but I can't believe how TC was shown only in UK. His shows should be viewed by everybody. This guy is obviously a genius in comedy. I'm really sorry that's not possible to find his work subtitled, cause when english is your 2nd language you end up missing one thing or two, and so one joke or two too.

Actually, it would have been much better if, instead of doing his little creepy laugh, he suddenly burst into tears every minute or so and screamed something at the audience like "and you can all fuck yourselves!!!" or "fuck me, I said FUCK ME, you bitches!!!" before straightening up, smiling and carrying on with the next trick ( and thus repeating the cycle). I would then find him funny.

This is a master at work. In my younger days I didn't appreciate what Tommy Cooper did but now I think that his performances were amazing. I love from 4:35 onwards. You're expecting a dolly bird or tiger to appear in the booth but there's nothing. The joke is on the audience. Fantastic work.
