@razorblade530 Thanks. The first film shown was made in 2003 (on 16mm). The second, beginning around 3:33, was shot in 1994 on Super 8 Kodachrome sound film.
I thought it was funny that J.J. Abrams has a movie called Super 8 about a group of folks making a no-budget zomibe film with an 8mm instread of a new digital camera. But I love film! I love the look of your clips. I would probably choose to work with a super 8 rather than a canon camera but I think i'm in the minority.
Hi, I really like what you have done here. It's the kinda stuff I would like to create. Can I ask how you got that graininess to the film? Was it just your camera or are you using a filter?
Thanks. I didn't do anything to the footage. That's the way it came back from the lab. I shot it 'normal' with no filters. The grain is just the characteristic of 16mm film.
I've always loved horror movies and this looks very good. It's the kind of cinema I always look for- unknown, atmospheric, and ghostly. Wish it was finished and on DVD.
Atmospheric and ghostly, I love it!

when were these movies originally filmed? They look great. Love the grainy 16mm look.
