Arabie, by Serge Lutens is similar to AS but in Arabie you do get a lot more of the herbal vibe. It has been described by Luca Turin as "A cousin to Ambre Sultan, Arabie is slightly more daring [...] Arabie sets a powerful suite of herbs."

A log with Karo Syrup on fire... that about sums it up! I happened upon a full bottle of this at a church yard sale, for 50 cents, no less!

Oh, and I'm a girl and a lot of girls think it smells either like old ladies or old men, and it does...at first. But once the initial vanilla bit wears out, it smells like toasty and salty heaven, Karo Syrup on fire :)

Im trying to figure which i like more out of this and Amber Absolute, A.A is sweeter and lasts longer on me but A.S is more masculin i actually find.

@shimenga1 It's quite different from Chergui, which Im not too fond of. Chergui is more herbal, incense, and vanilla.
