  • what the F**K is all this fight about dubstep, no one gives a shit if you started listening to this in the 1500's its f*****g music. I don't care if it is someone taking a shit, if it sounds good and i like it then f**k you. Why hate on artist that appeal to the masses? how the f**k else will they get recognized, stupid illogical arguments.

  • My top 4 Dubstep artists

    xKore

    Skirllex

    Ry Legit

    Cookie Monsta

  • @PavlinOwneg

    hahah my to ;D

  • When will people accept that dubstep isn't just a hipster thing anymore?

  • @LOLz261 anymore? i think you'll find at fwd in 2004 it wasnt a hipster thing, now it is though

  • amazing list...i am amazed lol i predict all these producers will have a deep medi plate sometime soon

  • @Pistonsbeneath It's an honor to have you troll on my sound sir. Seriously tho. I appreciate everything the dubstep scene is and was. I love what you're doing and just watched you on getdarker. I produce a wide variety of styles within the genre. I'm not sure if you remember but Distance once labeled bands like Korn and System of a Down as his influences and look where they are now in the industry. Please be more open minded. Being a jerk isn't helping your cause. With love, Malleus

  • @MalleusDUB what sarcasm? surely if they were good they'd get released. Goth-Trad is signed to deep medi and his tunes are well filthy bruv

  • @Pistonsbeneath My track is the first track in this vid and it did get a release. Not on Deep Medi of course but you knew that. Listen, I know it's difficult when videos like this come out because the list should have included people like Compa, Objekt, Sleeper, Kahn, and Perverse. The term dubstep is used too loosely and unlike you, I live in the South East part of the US where nothing is happening but brotunes. I've gotta travel 6 hours to catch Joe Nice.

  • But that hasn't stopped me from being open minded. I hate when 15 year olds are saying they love dubstep and don't know dick about what it really is, but I'm not an ass to them. I'm informative and if they take what I tell them to heart and look up the names I drop then great but if not who cares. Some people in the scene's attitude is perfect, like Distance and Tunnidge. I have mad respect for them. You? I'm losing more and more respect for. Just TRY and let things like this go.

  • @MalleusDUB it was all meant in jest mate if you like those guys i dont see why you can't rep them and change whats around you, joe nice didnt need anyone when he started repping dubstep back in 2004 or whenever it was

  • @Pistonsbeneath I am trying to change things around me. If you check out my channel I have a vid of me spinning a few dungeon tracks in a buddy's basement. We throw gigs there all the time. But its not easy. I made the track in this vid almost 2 years ago when I thought the sound was kinda cool. Who knew it would be like this years later? 16bit, Reso, and even Skream are working that brostep sound to their advantage. Point being, jokes or not its still hurtful and unnecessary.

  • @MalleusDUB cool sorry didn't meant to be hurtful, i think with the internet we sometimes forget about the person behind the screen. Tbh dungeon is getting as boring as bro to me but obv it sounds proper on a rig...keep up the good work keep on pushing again didn't meant to be hurtful fight the good fight etc peace

  • @Pistonsbeneath I appreciate that. And I hear you on the dungeon sound being played out. Its another fad within the genre but I'm glad its still pushing the darker side of things. No hard feelings though.

  • DUBSTEP SUCKS BROSTEP RULES XD

  • i still think Benga is gonna rape those 4 noobs (not including Noisestorm since i love that stuff) in 2012

  • Hi Dave !

Where can i find a equalizer like this ? =)

  • What the fuck are you doing with your channel? Please build some more constructive videos. Most of these dubstep artists sound like hipster dubstep anyways, only Malleus sounds good.

  • happy you had noisestorm in there :) I would recommend just about anyone who is part of monstercat media:D

  • It really upsets me that my favorite kind of music - deep, minimal dubstep - is full of whiny fuckin crybabies screaming BROSTEP every time something doesn't fit their narrow little mold. Listen, I love deep dubstep. Distance and Loefah are my 2 favorite producers ever. But shut up. What are we supposed to call this kind of music? It's dubstep. It's all dubstep just like "Metal" covers a wide array of genres and subgenres.

  • i assume its top 5 next big thing artists and everybody can stfu about brostep it still comes under dubstep

  • Why are people being so negative haha, Dave has shared a lot of tips in what he enjoys doing and he's made some interesting combinations of genres himself, he seems to be doing well. Keep it up man, you've probably helped a lot of people!

  • Wow, the internet isn't the best place if you're looking for people with any manners...or home training.

not my favorite mixes but i can easily hear the work and effort put into them, can you at least have respect for that? all i can see are a bunch of bedroom critics making old school look bad.

  • Dont hate appreciate! I think they all make good music, un-like most of the non talented fags that wanna talk shit about the music. Shut the hell up and listen, if you dont like it watch something else.

  • Skrillex has an alias named Klaypex apparently. All 5 tracks are unoriginal and sound completely the same. Son I am dissapoint. Why can't people do some fucking research.

  • @Vraagtekenk Maybe you should do some research into the fact that Skrillex and Klaypex are two different producers... and they're both shit

  • @maccavel187 Sarcasm seems to be hard to detect on the internet.

  • @Vraagtekenk Oh lol, didn't pick up on that. Carry on

  • This Dave must be the most confident person ever, or the most obnoxious, unbearable and self-deluded cunt in existence.

  • @howincrediblyshit Probably a bit of both.

  • they all sounded the same.... this is shit..... please dont make another video

  • Yeah I agree, these are not the top five dubstep artists...... please.

  • hi ,im Dave from Boy.in.a.Band.com .. BLA BLA BLA -.-

  • hahahaha

  • fuck your shit.

    Boyinaboy

  • This stuff sounds like shit.

  • 140 bpm is dubstep, take it or leave it. I love both the oldskool stuff and new more pop-like dubstep. Stop acting like you lost your toy... Learn to share.

  • Dubstep?

  • 1. Not dubstep

    2. It's only february, how the fuck can you already decide these are the best producers?

    3. You suck

  • That's bullshit, you know nothing about dubstep.

  • please don't claim to have chosen the 'top 5 dubstep artists' when all you've chosen is some 'upcoming' brostep producers who will appeal to the masses. and in relation to the comments, please do not try to define dubstep through skrillex, you know nothing about the genre. respect for the true dubsteppers

  • @DubDivisionOfficial Please don't be so disrespectful. The music you have posted on your channel is pretty far from the original sound too. Some even border on that line of brostep. While this video is promoting one of my only attempts at this style of dubstep, I can assure you I am not a 'brostep producer'. Check out my channel and open your mind. Be accepting to change and do your own thing. You may be surprised that my tracks are being played by some of the original heads

  • @MalleusDUB I think you make derivative shit.

  • @howincrediblyshit Your opinion is valid to your name. Good choice.

  • @DubDivisionOfficial btw your v for vendetta mix is full of brostep

  • @DubDivisionOfficial At first instance, I can see where you're coming from. But do not insinuate that Dave doesn't know his shit; I can see why you would be angry about dubstep (different to brostep) being confused and misused these days, but it happens in ALL genres and sorts of music, and you never see any of those guys complaining all over the place like some kind of hipster.

  • @DubDivisionOfficial Who are the dubsteppers you would call true dubsteppers?

  • @DubDivisionOfficial then please, enlighten us all as to who these "true dubsteppers" are

  • Dislike since this isnt dubstep

  • american bullcrap.

  • Not one of those artists are even dubstep lol.....you want real dubstep check man like loefah, benga, skream, distance, hatcha, filithy vicars, hizzle guy, mensah, sukh knight, cotti, coki, jakes.

  • @DUBneale how could you forget burial

  • @Tyrannix12 i didn't, i was gonna add hm and alot more others but youtube wouldn't let me use anymore characters... :/

  • @DUBneale good to know :)

  • @Iwantapplez109

no if you had the slightest idea of dubstep.. listened to it since its pretty much started in the UK you'd understand what real dubstep is

  • i thought it wasnt going to be brostep. ill leave

  • Mate, you're just plain retarded.

  • @BrostepIsShit true dat.

  • @BrostepIsShit luv your channel!

  • @Tyrannix12 ups mate

  • @BrostepIsShit jesss

  • God, klaypex is some no soul skrillex shit- i wish they would just try.

  • How did you get that spectrum-like display

  • noisestorm is flat out amazing

  • Comment removed

  • What about Poseidon!

  • Oh, and skrillex is good! But I dint think they're the best.

  • @KyojiK oh, I see. Ok. You see, I was busy listening to some friends of mine who kept telling me deadmouse is dubstep, and I was introduced to dubstep through what my friends thought was dubstep, deadmouse. But of course one of the friends loves to act like he knows everything about music, but really doesn't apparently.......

Thank you guys for telling me and I apologize for the little resistance I was giving. :)

  • to people who hate Dubstep : dislike songs not genres.

  • my list is:

    1.skrillex

    2.skrillex

    3.skrillex

    4.skrillex

    5.SKRILLEX

  • @TheSOCCERBEAST666

    Watch 6 comment's below -.o(Wink)

  • @TheSOCCERBEAST666 omg. whyyyy. Skrillex is so premature. Like the Jb of dubstep.

  • @TheSOCCERBEAST666 Bad taste you have... You only know the mainstream, so you don't know much 'bout music

  • @TheSOCCERBEAST666 So many better dubstep makers out there. Skrillex is just a known one for the mainstreamers. Try digging a lil deeper to find some real dubstep.

  • @XohmadonX shut up fucking hipster

  • @thanck789 I'm a hipster cause I don't like Skrillex cause its too mainstream? lol. The only dubstep people know these days is Skrillex even tho there are way better producers out there.

  • @XohmadonX ''I'm a hipster cause I don't like Skrillex cause its too mainstream?'' Wow dude you just said what a hipster is ! haha and you're one.

  • @thanck789 He's not a hipster, he just knows his stuff.

  • @TheSOCCERBEAST666 It's funny cause he isn't dubstep.

  • Dorincourt, Mizukis last chance and Malleus all use reason. Noisestorm does too I think judging from the d and b tutorial a little while ago

  • You forgot Skrillex :)

  • @TheMKWJeremy13

    He is already Famous

    this video is for artist's who aren't famous(YET ! !)

But i get that you wanted skrillex in this video ^.^

  • @zaruel130 Oh, I get it. Thanks for explaining.

  • @TheMKWJeremy13 Nice troll, troll.

  • I know it's a mather of taste, but I think Addergebroed is gonna be big in 2012. He's Zodiac EP from 2011 was a big one, now it's on again with the Limbo EP. Check it out :-)

  • Hello everyone! I'm a fairly new producer who has been working very hard in putting out some music. I've been getting more songs out recently and will be making an EP in march. It would help out a ton if you guys checked my stuff out. We all know how hard it is to get fans today

  • i think you forgot yourself in that list

  • Ry Legit has the dubstep around. If you haven't heard his stuff... I'm sorry

  • nice to see klaypex on here

  • this is video is perfect for analysing dubstep's audio-spectrum

  • That MLC song is new to me its fuckin awesome i gotta check that ep:)

  • DorinCourt <3

  • Comment removed

  • Its rising artists. Besides, Malleus is my boy!

  • Xkore. Should be here. Jus Sayin. Visit the Beatfind.weebly.com

  • ALVIN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALVIN RISK!!!!!

  • Well, your right, deadmouse's main skill isnt dubstep, but some of his songs ARE dubstep. Raise your weapon (not the remix) is in fact a dubstep song! And for those of you who are noob pricks, like noobshow....shut your f'n mouths and get a life.

  • @robodrummerboy13 no, they are house. The "dubstep wobble" you hear in a lot of the songs are not dubstep exclusive. Bass wobble has been around forever, decade before dubstep was even around. All of deadmau5 songs are straight up Electro/Prog/House. To make it less so dubstep is the fact that the song you just mentioned runs at 128 BPM, which is bpm for House, not 140 BPM, which is the dubstep norm.

  • @robodrummerboy13 lolololol deadmau5's dubstep sucks and he's already famous, and this is coming from a deadmau5 fan.

  • PORTER ROBINSON!!!!!!!!

  • o.o no datsik? omg !

  • Skrillex/deadmouse ??? WHY U NO THERE

  • @MelodiousDev they are definitely nowhere near the best.

  • @MelodiousDev These people are not yet noticed. He's trying to get them places. Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, Deadmau5, Manian, are all great but they are famous.

  • You forgot to mention that Klaypex was featured in the collab-video of Corridor Digital and Mike Diva. I think that has to account a bit for the attention he's gotten.

  • No xKore...?

  • Thanks! Appreciate the list.

  • It's really cool of you to promote these guys on your channel.

  • com' on we all know klaypex is best!

  • What about Deadmau5? He's like, the king of them all!! His best one I think is Raise Your Weapon. And also Raise your weapon Noisia remix

    You should have deadmau5 on.......

  • @robodrummerboy13 he isn't dubstep

  • @robodrummerboy13 He isn't dubstep, and he's already famous. These guys are rising.

  • @robodrummerboy13

at least you can say that noisia make dubstep, but deadmau5 didn'tmake dubstep, only n00b fag think it...

  • @robodrummerboy13 Wrong genre. Deadmau5 crosses genres sometimes but not enough to make Deadmau5 a dubstep artist

  • @robodrummerboy13 Wow. You better be trolling.

  • Am I the only one who thinks klaypex is copying skrillex's sound too much?

I mean it sounds good, but its needs to change a little, unless klaypex enjoys being stuck in skrillex's shadow.

  • @IXIDORco2 yup. you are the only one.

  • @IXIDORco2 its tuff to compare two dubstep artists, skrillex is far more dirty then klaypex, klaypex appears to be more clean and fluent. these qualities by no means turn me away fom either of them.

  • I love Klaypex!

  • Great video! Well done!

  • You forgot knife party, who already has a song on a movie trailer...just sayin>.>

  • Dub Step is all the same.

  • @thatonekid42087 Yeah sure. No difference.. idiot!

  • @thatonekid42087 you must love house music.. i understand you bro.

  • @thatonekid42087 yep, but i still like it XD

  • KLAYPEX YEAH!!!

  • What about knife party???

  • @Vendoman500 theyre famous. hes promoting underrated

  • Figure and Knife Party!

  • Awesome dave!! keep linking theeeese vids they are awesome :'3

  • Malleus fucking sounded like Downlink man real professional stuff there mate.

  • What about Varien, Figure, Knife party?

  • @GreenBrick818 Varien is hardcore. Still, we have Noisestorm whom is Monstercat. :3 He also missed Stephen Walking. :c

  • @farxfields yep, Stephen Walking is outstanding

  • Yo,BIAB

I feel like that thing in the middle of the screen can help me master dubstep tracks haha

  • Malleus reminds me so much of excision

  • that is a REALLY dope graphic, i could sit and watch that all day

  • Klaypex are definitely going places.

  • Skrillex is the best. Nuff.

  • @NamesRAGE To bad, that isn't true....

  • Anyone heard of Subvibe? Cus they're pretty good. One of my favorites personally.

  • @freddi444444 SUBVIBE <3333

what's your favorite song by them? :D

  • @MissingnoLv180 UMM either Damage, Destroyer (Cubism Remix)*, or their Rihanna remix**

So yeah, really specific reply haha.

*I know it's not them, I just like this version more

**even though I don't like Rihanna, but they do a damn good job with it!

  • Make more videos like this, I love your taste in dubstep.

  • How do you do those eq bars? D:

  • @hamiiDX adobe after effects

  • Just noticed that according to YouTube, your Bavarian Dubstep video was posted 42 years ago... LOL

  • Malleus is basically downlink lmfao

  • @acidicguitrist yea really

  • +1 for Klaypex

  • The first track is pretty much Datsik - Hydraulic

  • wicked tracks all round. Does anyone know a good samplepack with lots of airy melodic female "ooh" and "ahh" vocals as featured in alot of these tracks? all the vocal sample packs i have are of people saying actual words...

  • @j0epep If you find yourself some acapellas of female singers then open them up an editor and save things like the middle of long held notes or their breaths inbetween words that can be a gold mine. Then again you could always sample some porn... :D

  • Personally, I think Varien is going to release some mental shit this year.

  • nice...

  • Sudanim? I love his music

  • xkore ?
