For me Jesus is a way to talk about peace of mind, to reach it. He existed, and he did good things for people 2000 years ago, but now, for me, hes an example of self-improvement...I can't speak with him, for that reason I only believe in my own strenght and I found it in this kind of songs. What I see here is what C.S Lewis coined the "Jesus Trillema". Christ had to be 1 of 3 things: a liar, a lunatic, or God. he couldnt just be a moral teacher bc he claimed to be God so he has to b 1 of the above 3

So I mean why not just go to Christ for help and repentance? it couldnt help especially when you fall.
