I bought a xbox for Dead or Alive and when it came to next gen, my decision was totally clear. And now I am thinking if I might need a Nintendo 3DS.

In my opinion DoA is the best one, followed by Soul Calibur. And also not because of the boobs. Their speedy fighting systems are just most fun in multiplayer action.

I love it, I've been looking around these top 10 fighting list and there seems to be a small fantical group of hardcore bloody roar fans that get real mad when there game does not make the list. It's funny as this is the forth one i've seen and it all the same. I should add I've never played BR before so I'm not passing judgement on the game itself just the reactions of the fans.

i have actually. I really enjoyed Fighters megamix in teh UK at least it had the same launch day as Soul Blade/Edge. so its was an awesome days for fighting fans. desite soul looking great and having an awesome intro, myself and all my friends were drawn into the megamix. Which for those who dont know, essentially is VF2 vs FVipers with additions of AM2. Such as the Daytona 42 car and the palm tree as well as Janet from VCop.

Its always good to see the fighting smack talk :) MK 1 everyone was nigh on exactly the same bar fatalities, MK2 more of the same, MK3 dial a combos ruined it but at least it was different but suffered a beat down at the hands of SSF2. MK4/Gold I liked Gold on DC. Certainly flowed better than the fixed combo style of MK DA/Armageddon.

Marvel vs Capcom is awesome! and still play it today - i prefered MvC2 myself. as the capcom marvel series evolved from SF and the Alpha series, with Childen Of The Atom. So this is the reason it wasnt on the list. SNK v Capcom ranks highly as well, but as KIng of fighters and Street fighter are there own entities it wouldnt have been right to say ut SNK v Capcom in and neglect SF and KOF from the countdown.

DOA is an awesome title, but truly when it comes to the bigger picture of ALL the fighting games in history to be in a top ten is a high accolade because its your fave game i understand your frustrated. Guilty Gear never usually gets a looks in. Killer Instinct is also often forgotten.
