@Xmk2123 honestly, i don't know how well both tanks perform when undergoing same trial testings. But in terms of design, I think the K-2 is the better protected tank. The Type 10 weights 44-48 tons depending on the armor suit. While tanks like the Challenger2 has armor as its priority, the Type 10 has mobility as its priority.

The Chinese Type 99 for comparisson was 49,8 tons originally, but the tests showed that the Army wanted a better armor package and the Type 99A weights 54 tons.

the K-2 has a FCS that allows it to be very accurate while moving. In addition it also emits a small laser beam before shooting at its designated target. This laser delays the shot until it is aligned with the designated target. This is in case the tank runs over a bump while moving and shooting, it delays the shot when it hits the bump and the gun goes up and then when it goes down and realigns, it fires. Smart idea huh?
