I miss mine!!!! Now some **********bag is selling one on ebay for 100 bucks! D: I cant believe......wait...what I hate is that every one of my RC's had dissappeared because I had them when I was a little kid.
if u dont live near any lakes buy a fast car but if u do u have 2 options buy a fast car and a fast boat and tht will cost u like 1k or you can buy one of these and tht will cost u like $30
For some reason mine won't work, do you need to connect the vehicle with the controller, or is it something diffrent? If it is something with connecting, please send a tutorial or how-to please : )
I got one that didn't work for free and my Mom threw it out. I would have liked to of put some hobby R/C gear in it, like a couple waterproof Traxxas XL-5's. Probably would have worked pretty well. Maybe if I get another one, and when I get some more money (AKA: a job) I'll do it.
the are sweet to drive on any terrain imaginable, they can't get stuck. when i used to have mine, i drove it in thin ice until the ice broke through and tooled around in the water for a bit, then drove it back onto the surface of the ice, i couldn't believe it made it back up
some one should tell tyco (and mattel in general) to stop making the alien crap they do now. this kind of but not really looks like an alien, but it is awesome. as of everything else from the late 90s and early 2000s from tyco
Wow, pretty cool one, wish I had picked one up but wasn't sure as to how well it would work. Tyco makes wicked retail RCs though. Got a Fast Traxx from way back, alas the tracks are shot :-(
rayclauson...I guess you don't get the concept of an amphibious vehicle using an Archimedian screw, and how cool it is...and how it can teach a kid a little science, and stimulate his mind.
I was gonna say the same thing. God bless the Russians for inventing the weird moving army contraption which is now a RC toy. I've seen the video. That machine is eerie in real life if you ask me.
I bought one but after less than a month the left barrel thing that it runs on broke so now it only works with the right one, the left one will turn but only when I tell it to go side to side, or backwards. It's also really slow in water and still slow on land.
Congratulations to you for stating the unbelievably obvious. A $80 RTR vehicle made for 8-12 year olds is slower than a $800 pro-level RC, you say? Fascinating!
no it floats nver ever buy it though i got it one year for my b day and it was horrible it was like 4 hours charge time for 30 min or less playing time it barley even moves in sand which is really easy and cant even move in grass
30 minutes is actually excellent runtime for an electric RC. Really can't ask for more out of a single battery charge. That's why spare batteries are recommended.
Just got my first Nikko f10 (Thunderbolt, a yellow one). Looks almost new with Armor-All on the tires but I'm still waiting on a replacement r. front arm and bumper to arrive.
I think it's funny how people act like a $750 car is somehow 10x more fun than a $75 one. C'mon people, they're both fun to drive and spending a lot of money doesn't make it less of a toy.
Thanks much for your kind advice but I've owned many dozens of hobby-level RCs of all sizes over the past 8 years including numerous one-of-a-kind projects and have a shelf of racing trophies & plaques. I've been in RC magazines and run UltimateRC [dot] com and all of the URC Network sites. Thanks again, though!
Yo I just bought one at a garage sale for 5 bucks and it works great, fast too. Best 5 dollors I spent, you all need to stop at garage sales never now what you find... lol
id like to get one but the issue is that where i live theres not a lot of water or dirt and im afade that get killed can? it take a beating? or will it die?
My GF saw me looking at these and said, "Honey, you're 21". Women just don't understand.
