Oh yes the word Farang is an insult you ignorant twats - the Thais have abbreviated meaningless words even for there Asian neighbors, it is there so called humorous side coming out and is a well used word amongst the middle and lower classes it is never used by the rich and upper class. As an educated American, this only shows what anyone with common sense would already know. There are good Thai women and there are bad Thai women (aka bar girls). There is also good western men, and bad western men. If Thai men and Thai people don't like the western men going there and marrying Thai women. Then the country needs to change how they treat the women in Thailand. That simple! You cannot blame the men and women who get involved with each other interracially.

Right. I went to Thailand and married a wonderful woman. I did not find her in a bar. I love how Thai women are truly feminine. They have beautiful hair, real fingernails and always look nice. Don't get me wrong i am a caucasian guy from portugal in loved with an asian girl from thailand. From the people i know in my past, even if things never went always the way i expected, I have to admit the qualities of the caucasian women as well.

The myth about white women being cold or what so ever, is created by frustrated white men in a childish attempt to make themselves feel better with an exotic new thai gf

Honestly, I dont think is their fault i a direct way. They are the consequence of the system and values of their country witch lead them to stay behind other developed countries.

From a lot thai women i met (working decent respectable people) even if they hold a degree from university, they dont own those qualities that a women born in the west has.

There is one negative side that many caucasian ignore in thailand, witch is the racism. Thai in general are extremely racist towards foreigners. They are kind, and yet there's always the chance to call us by the word "FARANG". They are so focused in their small wold that for them the west is "one" and everyone speaks english.

Thai people as a whole, in general, are good people. Polite, courteous and thankful. Always looking on the bright side but at the same time being honest with themselves. The whole world could learn from them.
