It saddens me that so much of the world doesn't know about the amazingness that is Nathan Fillion. Just look at how versatile he is - he's been a supernatural villain in Buffy, a friggen space cowboy in Firefly/Serenity, a hilarious crime-solving writer in Castle, a real dark protagonist in Drive, and so much more than that. And yet I can name so many mainstream actors that can only play one kind of role, while true talent is denied the fame it deserves.

I personally love it and really think it could have gone somewhere, but a lot of people don't know much about it since it was given a bad time slot and got canceled so fast (just like a certain show called Firefly...).

I agree...time slots can definitely kill shows with great potential. Dollhouse, for one, was given the Friday night time slot - the kiss of death for any TV show. Firefly had amazing plotline, great characters, wonderful writing, and an irresistable lure. Such a shame that it was canceled :(

She was so mysterious, and it was almost cruel how they had to wrap her character up so quickly in Serenity, though in Serenity she was the most badass chick I've ever seen in a film.

@Poky789 In total agreement. The movie was good, but it wasn't the same as the show. I missed the warm tones, the Western feel, the quippy dialogue. Most of the movie was so focused on plot that the characters rarely got any moments. I really was curious in seeing how the Blue Sun Corp played into River's backstory, and who the shepherd really was. So many plot threads that could have gone somewhere, and then BOOM! Canceled. The story of any great, short-lived series.
