@sunchyme 59 For starters I was standing where the lake once was. The "Hopper" did see limited use, ships would draw near and unload their cargo then a very long conveyor belt would transport it to shore, two of the supports still remain. Legend has it that during the depression ice was stored in what became known as the "Ice House" during the summer months to be used in refrigerators as they were in their infancy and money was short.
