lol its amazing what adding an exhaust does to the turbo whistle. we just added an MBRP 4" to my old mans '00 7.3 and DAM you hear that whistle all the way down the street! nice truck and nice sound man!

exactly which intake do you have just the stage 2 intake? or a package of different things? I have a 7.3 running bullydog duals, but my turbo doesn't whistle that loud...

I don't know which kit it is, but it's 4" and has the muffler and cat delete.

The 6.0L stock intake works up to 500hp, no reason to change it out. Filters much better than most of the aftermarket intakes. Also the reason his turbo is so loud is because it is a 03, which came with the loud turbo. They discontinued installing that turbo in 04. I got the 04 6.0L and mine don't have near that much whistle.

I had to go with an aftermarket intake because I had to make room for where I wanted to put my compressor for onboard air and train horns. :) Plus eventually I'll get studs and make over 500 anyways.

Most people say that the AFE isn't worth it until you're making over 400whp. I got it because I got a good deal on it, and I needed the extra room under the hood. :)
