Ahh, what a fantastic day that was. Also, while this might not seem like the most impressive show, it's much more difficult to put together than it looks. If anyone is just a little bit off, they will stick out terribly.
Also, it's one of the most fun to march because it typically gets the most crowd response. It might not LOOK like the most impressive thing in the world, but the crowd loves it, and that's what the LHB is all about.
sounds like sour grapes to me MNC62688. . . lol... I think we all know what he meant . anyway The Longhorn band does more than march up and dwn the field.Large marching bands look awesome when they can take up an entire field though. . . O u does not have a great band but keep trying !!!!!!
You know what, you're right. Marching straight up the field and turning around and marching back down the field would definitely make any band look pathetic.
One more thing, I am going to the Cotton Bowl this Saturday to see my Texas A&M of Commerce, an independant away from Texas A&M, take on East Central Oklahoma. I hope this Texas school can do what the other Texas school did to an Oklahoma school. Go Lions!

The OU Band is extremely lucky to appreciate the LHB so up close and personal. You think they would learn something....
