A friend of mine has a boyfriend that was living in Brooklyn last summer and he is about 22 years old and he had stopped to rest on city park bench somewhere in NYC and he was given a ticket for being at a playground without a child! The thing was that was bizarre was he wasn't even near any playground area - just an isolated bench! Of course they did the whole Gestapo routine and made him feel less than human. I was unaware that public parks can impose such bullshit on law abiding citizens!
